Teddy Hodgdon IV will return to the SK Modified division at Stafford Speedway tonight.
Hodgdon will return to the track in a former SK Modified championship winning ride previously piloted by Rowan Pennink with car owner Bob Hitchcock.
The team marks a collaboration between Hitchcock, the Hodgdon family, Mike Paquette and Jean-Guy and Brigitte Poulin.
Hodgdon began the season with the Dan Avery owned Horsepower Hill team and has run 10 events this season. Below is a release from the new team.
Teddy Hodgdon returns to the SK Modified division tonight.
He will be piloting the 99, a Bob Hitchcock car, last driven by Rowan Pennick.
Mike Paquette, Bob Hitchcock and Jean-Guy and Brigitte Poulin have collaborated to make this happen.
It has been an “all hands on deck” in the last two weeks to get the car race ready, with Ted and Teddy Hodgdon, Jean-Guy, Mike Paquette and David Flammia making it a near 24 hour operation.
For the Poulins, it is a return to racing roots, as they successfully fielded winning Chassis Dynamics/Mike Paquette cars for many years. They also have a long time association and friendship with Bob Hitchcock, having spent several years at his racing garage while racing with Ryan Preece.
In addition to Crew Chief Dave Dal Zovo, Teddy Hodgdon, David Flammia Jr, Mike Flammia and David Flammia Sr will be infield crew. We also welcome back Reid Bogie. Additional sponsorship will also be provided by Ted Hodgdon and Hodgdon Racing.
Primary sponsor for this four week entry is JG Poulin Drywall. This is their 36th year of racing at Stafford and will happily ensure that they are at the track and on the track to finish this season.
