Patrick Emerling Leads Qualifying For North-South Shootout

“BIG MONEY” MATT HIRSCHMAN, KYLE SYSCO AND CALEB HEADY FILL THE FAN CHALLENGE SLOTS.

Patrick Emerling made the trek from New York and claimed the top spot in qualifying for the 20th Annual John Blewett III Memorial “North-South Shootout” presented by Puryear Tank Lines in Memory of Charles Kepley.

Emerling edged Matt Hirschman for the ”Fan of Modified” Pole Award and the $1,500.00 prize that goes with it.  Kyle Sysco, Caleb Heady and Brian Loftin rounded out the top five. Jimmy Blewett, Doub Coby, Burt Myers, Ronnie Williams and Spencer Davis completed the top ten.

Eleven year old Paulie Hartwig took 11th with Jason Myers. Jaes Civali, Gary Putnam, Carson Loftin, Dennis Holdren, Junior snow, John Smith, Jeremy Gerstner, Jeff Fultz, Johnny Kay, Caden Lapcevich, Tim Connolly and J. R. Bertuccio completing the 25 car field.

The NSS rolls off on Saturday at 1:30 PM at Caraway Speedway.
