Weekly Warriors Ready For Big Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 At White Mountain

(Press release from White Mountain Motorsports Park)

Following yet another disappointing rainy Saturday cancellation last weekend, White Mountain Motorsports Park officials, teams, and, certainly, fans are teeming with excitement to swing open the gates this Saturday, August 5th for the 6th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250! The American-Canadian Tour returns to the Mountain with over 40 of the best Late Model drivers in the Northeast invading New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track along with Double Features for the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis plus Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers and the Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kid’s Division!

Defending King of the Mountain Quinny Welch is going to have quite a handful in his fight against forty other top Late Model drivers with the American-Canadian Tour invasion. Most of Welch’s top finishes have been here at home and the nine-time track champion will once again search for his first American-Canadian Tour victory, and the first Milton CAT 250 win for a White Mountain weekly warrior. Matt Anderson, Kyle Goodbout, Ben Belanger, Jesse Switser and Ryan Olsen will also hold up the home banner against the likes of top ACT championship chasers D.J. Shaw, Gabe Brown and Jimmy Renfrew Jr. along with invaders Patrick Laperle, Jason Corliss, Jimmy Hebert and Tom Carey III.

Following last week’s rainout, the Midseason Championship, Double Point make-up feature event for the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis will start Saturday’s stellar racing program. The popular four-cylinder division will be going for double features alongside the American-Canadian Tour spectacular as defending champion Chris Moulton holds a narrow lead over a hard-charging, and consistent, Kristian Switser.

Following their double features night two weeks ago, John Donahue and Brandon Gray are ready to rekindle their Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tiger rivalry for the large crowd expected on Saturday. The Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kid’s Division also returns to the White Mountain highbanks after several rain-delayed off weeks.

Saturday, August 5th brings the biggest event of the year to White Mountain Motorsports Park with the 6th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250. Race number eight for the American-Canadian Tour, the Milton CAT 250 will pit the best of the best in New England and Quebec against one another for the longest-distance showdown on the Tour schedule with $10,000 waiting in victory lane. Former victors D.J. Shaw and Jason Corliss are looking for another visit to victory lane while such stars as Patrick Laperle, Quinny Welch, Jimmy Renfrew Jr., Gabe Brown, Jimmy Hebert and more are ready to rock the boat and beat the odds!

The Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis and the Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division are also on tap to join the biggest White Mountain showdown of the summer season.
