White Mountain Back In Action For Fifth Annual Foley Oil & Propane Leaf Peepers 100

(Press release from White Mountain Motorsports Park)

After taking the Oxford 250 weekend off, racers and fans are ready to return to White Mountain Motorsports Park in spades amidst an exciting Labor Day weekend. The 5th annual Foley Oil & Propane Leaf Peepers 100 for the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models headlines the Saturday, September 2nd program along with a visit from the NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros Tour invading New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track for a Saturday showdown.

Kasey Beattie is looking to bookend the summer season, and further solidify his standing in the King of the Mountain track championship chase, by claiming both the Spring Board 100 and the Foley Oil & Propane Leaf Peeper 100. While fellow St. Johnsbury driver Stacy Cahoon is looking for his first win of the 2023 season on Saturday, Groveton’s Quinny Welch is looking to return to victory lane after a rough finish last time out. White Mountain point chasers Mike Jurkowski, top rookie Kyle Goodbout, Mike Clark, Pat Patten and Matt Anderson will all be in attendance along with a slew of invaders looking forward to the extra-distance showdown.

Brandon Gray would love nothing more than to continue his hot streak at White Mountain coming off a three-peat win including victories in the Flying Tiger ranks over at Thunder Road two weeks ago. While it’s looking like a runaway for the East Thetford pilot, John Donahue, Colin Cornell and top rookie Luke Peters are looking to take the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tiger checkers on Saturday.

Kristian Switser continues to lead defending champion Chris Moulton in the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini point standings. The popular four-cylinder divisions have grown throughout the season, adding higher stakes in the competitive division each time out with stellar racing across the White Mountain highbanks, Saturday will certainly be no exception.

Along with the Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kid’s Division, the NELCAR Legends and Bandolero Tour returns to White Mountain for the first time this season following the June rainout cancellation.

Thunder returns to the Mountains on Saturday, September 2nd for the Foley Oil & Propane Late Model Leaf Peepers 100 at White Mountain Motorsports Park. The Labor Day weekend special will also include the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division along with the NELCAR Legends and Bandolero Tour.
