The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour heads to Riverhead for the third time this season for the running of the Eddie Partridge 256 Saturday. Ron Silk holds a 1-point lead over Justin Bonsignore in the series standings with Austin Beers third in the standings, 32 points behind Silk. There are currently 18 cars on the entry list for the event meaning mathematically, even with a victory and leading the most laps, Beers could not overtake Silk or Bonsignore Saturday as long as Silk and Bonsignore both start the event and earn at least 18th place points. Bonsignore won the first series event this year at Riverhead in May and Silk won the second visit for the series in June.
