Wednesday Racing Card At Thompson Cancelled

With a forecast for rain for much of the day and evening Wednesday, promoters at Thompson Speedway have made the decision to cancel the final oval track mid-week show of the season. 

The track will return to action with the running of the Sunoco World Series Weekend Oct. 6-8.

    Too bad Thursday couldn’t be a rain date. The weather looking decent then. I truely appreciate Mr’s. Mayberry and Michaud for their efforts to keep Thompson racing. Mother Nature always seems to take one mid-week event from them every year.
