A Look At The Season Long Battle At The Top Of The Whelen Modified Tour Standings

In 2023, Ron Silk and Justin Bonsignore waged one of the fiercest season-long battles for a title in the history of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.

Silk will end the season having been first or second in the standings after all 18 events this season.

Bonsignore was third in the standings following the second and third races of the season. From the fourth race of the season to the finale Thursday at Martinville, Silk and Bonsignore occupied the first and second place spots in the standings.

Silk and Bonsignore will end the season having been first or second in the standings following 16 of the 18 events this year. Silk has led the standings or been tied for the lead after 14 of 17 events this season.

Tonight they will decide who gets the first place spot and who gets the second place spot.
