White Mountain Motorsports Park Releases 32nd Season Schedule Of Events For 2024

Officials released the 2024 schedule of events for the 32nd consecutive season of stock car racing competition at White Mountain Motorsports Park. Nineteen exciting events dot the calendar from May through September with the return of popular events and new marquee guests joining the summer schedule, all of them awaiting the return of ‘Thunder in the Mountains!’

The 2024 season will begin with the annual open practice for White Mountain divisions on Saturday, May 11. The 32nd Season Opening weekend begins in earnest with the annual Car Show and six-division showcase on Saturday, May 18. Opening day will feature the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis, Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models, Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars, Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division and the first of two visits for the R&R Race Parts NH Open Street Stock Series.

Sunday, May 19 brings Day Two of opening weekend with the first of three visits from the Pro All Stars Series (PASS). The PASS Super Late Models invade White Mountain alongside the New England Supermodified Series (NESS), PASS Modifieds and a unique Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tiger doubleheader. The Flying Tigers will start the first of three Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown events on May 19 with the opener also acting as Race #1 for the new ACT Tri-State Flying Tiger Series! 

The Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown returns for their annual Independence Day 76 on July 6 before wrapping up on August 17 alongside the second visit for the NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros. After opening day, the ACT Tri-State Series heads to Thunder Road for a 100 lapper on Thursday, August 22 before the champion is crowned on PASS 400 weekend at Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday, October 19.

Following opening weekend, the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series begins with the 6th annual Spring Board 100 on May 25 during Memorial Day weekend. The four-race Wall’s Ford Platinum Series continues on July 27 alongside the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series for the New Hampshire Governor’s Cup Twin 100s followed by the 6th annual Leaf Peepers 100 on Labor Day weekend. The Wall’s Platinum champion will be crowned on Saturday, September 14.

June brings exciting special events including the Mini Late Model special on June 1, the first visit for the NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros on June 8, the annual Strictly Mini Stock 50-lap special on June 15 and the first of two visits for the Little Webb’s 350 Supermodifieds on June 29. White Mountain Motorsports Park will be closed during NASCAR weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on June 22.

Another doubleheader weekend returns starting with the Midseason Championships on Saturday, July 13 that features double points for track championship divisions and Kids Rides! Sunday, July 14 is headlined by the PASS Super Late Model 150, NESS Supermodifieds and PASS Mods. The weekend’s divisions will be finalized in the near future. July also features a visit from the New England Pro-4 Modifieds on Saturday, July 20.

August kicks off with the 7th annual, $10,000-to-win, Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 for the American-Canadian Tour on Saturday, August 3. The ultra popular event will once again be followed by a much-deserved  off-weekends on Saturday, August 10 and White Mountain will again close during Oxford 250 weekend.

September 7 brings the return of the R&R Race Parts NH Street Stock Open 100, paying $5,000 to the winner alongside the second visit from Little Webb’s 350 Supermodifieds. After cronwing the Wall’s Platinum champion on September 14, the ACT Tour and PASS Super Late Models return for the 46th Fall Foliage 200. The $5,000-to-win Fall Foliage 200 for the American-Canadian Tour will also include the PASS Super Late Model 150, NESS Supermodifieds, PASS Modifieds and Flying Tigers.

The final event of the 2024 season comes on Saturday, September 28 with another six-division showcase as all five White Mountain champions are crowned to round out the 32nd season of Thunder in the Mountains.

White Mountain Motorsports Park has wrapped up the 2023 stock car racing season. The annual Banquet of Champions will celebrate the top runners of the 2023 season at the Littleton Elks Club on Saturday, December 2. Drivers and teams have until Saturday, November 18 to order banquet tickets.

Along with the 2024 schedule of events, team license forms and rule books have also been released by the ACT office in Barre, Vermont. The 2023 White Mountain Motorsports Park Banquet of Champions is set for Saturday, December 2 at the Littleton Elks Club.
