Picture This: Fran Lawlor Gallery From Icebreaker Weekend At Thompson

THOMPSON – The Northeast short track racing season kicked off over the weekend with the running of the Icebreaker racing card at Thompson Speedway. 

Crazy weather on Saturday forced the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series to postpone its Thompson Speedway feature debut to October. On Sunday the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returned to the Icebreaker card for the first time since 2019. 

At the end of the day it was reigning series champion Ron Silk celebrating his second Whelen Modified Tour victory of the season following the Icebreaker 150.
