Glen Reen Ready For NASCAR Xfinity Series Debut At New Hampshire Motor Speedway

On June 22 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Justin Bonsignore will make his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut driving an entry for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Sci-Aps 200.

But Bonsignore will not be the only former NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour winner on the Xfinity Series entry list at NHMS.

Longtime Modified and full-fendered car standout Glen Reen will make also make his Xfinity Series debut on June 22 at NHMS.

Reen, a multi-time winner in multiple divisions at Stafford – and the track’s 2017 Late Model champion – will compete in an Xfinity Series entry at NHMS for car owner Joey Gase in the event. Reen has nine starts in Whelen Modified Tour action at NHMS from 2008 to 2014.

The car will be sponsored by New Wave Bath – a company founded and operated by Reen – and Rocky’s Ace Hardware.

We talked with Reen Tuesday about how this opportunity came about and more as he prepares for June 22 in Loudon.

“A couple times I tried to chase this dream and every time it just kept being a dead end,” Reen said.
