Who Is Jake Lutz? The Story Of The Driver Who Shined In His Whelen Mod Tour Debut At Seekonk

The question for many fans and competitors around the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour before Saturday’s J&R Pre-Cast 150 at Seekonk Speedway was, who is Jake Lutz?

Lutz was on the entry list for Seekonk and many who were not aware of his background immediately thought he must be a sibling or relative of Whelen Modified Tour veteran Craig Lutz.

Nope, they’re actually not even related.

When all was said and done at Seekonk Saturday there were even more people asking who Jake Lutz was after he finished sixth in his Whelen Modified Tour debut.

“To come home with a sixth place finish, definitely better than what I had imagined,” Lutz said.

So, we’ll introduce you to Jake Lutz on the latest Unmuffled Quickcast.

He sounds like he has a good head on His shoulders…So refreshing when a new driver comes on the scene…He has a humble attitude but also has the competitor edge from his sports … Will be someone to keep an eye on… That # 14 Modified looks really sharp… it will be interesting how he qualifies up at NHIS …. I am betting he will be in top 15 cars……
