Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series management confirmed Wednesday that there will be a change in schedule for the division’s historic first event at Thompson Speedway.
The Constantine Paving & Sealing 75 was originally scheduled for April 6 at Thompson Speedway as part of the track’s Icebreaker weekend. Due to weather issues that day the event was postponed to Friday Oct. 11, as part of the Sunoco World Series Weekend at Thompson Speedway.
The original World Series weekend schedule included an Open Modified event on Saturday Oct. 12. With that track sanctioned Open Modified event now off the scheduled, the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series will now be moved to Saturday Oct. 12.
The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series is back in action for the division’s fourth event of the season on August 10 at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl.

Originally the Saturday ticket from the Icebreaker was going to be good for Friday of the World Series. I wonder what the new ruling on that will be. If I remember correctly, Saturday of the World Series also has PASS and ACT events. I’m guessing the schedule may change a little, maybe one of those races will move to Friday.
