STAFFORD – On May 31 Paul Varricchio Jr. got his first career Late Model victory at Stafford Speedway. The Stafford veteran was making his 154 start in the division that night.
Up to that point he had raced in parts of 11 seasons in the Late Model division at Stafford since 2011. Last week Varricchio got his second career win and with just a few weeks left in the season he finds himself in the midst of a Late Model division championship battle, sitting in second place in standings, 22 points behind Kevin Gambacorta going into tonight’s racing.
Before features hit the track Friday we talked with Varricchio about his dream season in 2024.
