Last month, hours before the season ending event for the Whelen Modified Tour, NASCAR announced some increases coming to the division for the 2025 season.
NASCAR announced increases across the board in purses for individual events and a 250 percent increase in the point fund payout for the 2025 season.
And while the “250 percent increase” sounded nice on paper, NASCAR officials would not release the actual numbers that increase would represent.
And now, the rest of the story.
NASCAR distributed information to teams recently that spelled out all individual race purses for 2025, the point fund money for the top-20 teams for 2025 and a new bonus program involving events at Thompson Speedway in 2025.
