On Thursday it was announced that Manchester native Mike Massaro would be joining the marketing and communications department at RFK Racing.
We caught up with Mike today to get some details on his return to motorsports after nearly 10 years away from working in the sport full-time.
“I’m thrilled to work with Brad [Keselowski],” Massaro said. “I’ve known Brad since he was … even before he was a full-time driver in the lower series’. So I’ve watched him grow not only as a professional race car driver but to develop into a leader of an organization like RFK. He has that mentality of a leader. He is definitely determined and he’s got a lot of skin the game. He is motivated to turn this team into a stronger team and bring it back to its former glory, and we saw steps in that direction in the last few years. I fully expect that this is going to be a pretty big year for RFK.”
