Ticket and event information for the 53rd running of the NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler® are now available. Scheduled for April 26th & 27th, NAPA Spring Sizzler® Weekend will feature two days of racing capped off by the 100-lap NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler®.

New for the 2025 season, all on track activities for the NAPA Spring Sizzler® including practice, qualifying, and the 100-lap Open Modified race will be held on Sunday, April 27th. The SK Light Modifieds will now participate in a two-day event featuring two 20-lap duels on Saturday, April 26th with the top finishers transferring to a 30-lap feature on Sunday, April 27th.
“There’s nothing like the annual buildup to the Spring Sizzler®,” explained Stafford’s CEO Mark Arute. “The offseason is long but when you hit April and some nice Spring weather you know it’s almost time to get back to racing. We’ve made some changes to the NAPA Spring Sizzler® format for the 2025 season including moving the Spring Sizzler® to a one day show which will cut down on some costs for the Open Modified teams. We think this is a great format for both the race teams and race fans.”
The weekend will kick off Saturday, April 26th with NAPA Auto Parts Opening day which will feature Stafford’s Street Stock, Late Model, and Limited Late Model divisions alongside two 20-lap SK Light Modified Duel races. The weekend continues Sunday afternoonwith the 100-lap NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler®, 40 laps for the SK Modifieds®, and 30 laps for the SK Light Modifieds. Prior to feature racing, race fans will have the opportunity to meet their favorite drivers at the NAPA Auto Parts Pit Party.
“With the changes to the Open Modified portion of the Sizzler®, we had an opportunity to give the SK Light Modified division a big event to kick-off their 2025 season. All drivers will have the opportunity to run in one of the 20-lap Duel races with the top finishers moving on to Sunday’s 30 lapper.”
Similar to the preliminary format ran at the end of the 2024 season, the SK Light Duels scheduled for April 26th will split the field in half for two 20-lap features. The top finishers in each Duel will advance to Sunday’s 30-lap race.
Tickets for both the NAPA Spring Sizzler® and NAPA Opening day are now available online at staffordspeedway.com/tickets. Limited edition event t-shirts are also available for ticket purchasers.

How about lap sponsorship for the sk light feature
I don’t like losing the qualifying races. I know it’s being done to save the teams money but as a fan it hurts to get less and less racing as the only viable solution.
Looks like a long day on Sunday, hopefully they do the Pit Party at 10 or 11 and start racing/qualifying right at noon.

Yes, the 40-lap duels that were held on Saturday before the race, not the heat races. I suppose this means that heat races will be added to the Sunday program, but still…
