Picture This: Jim DuPont Gallery From Thursday At New Smyrna World Series

It was an eventful night for Northeast based short track racers Thursday at the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway.

NASCAR Modified Tour star Patrick Emerling picked up his third consecutive victory in the Tour Type Modified feature and virtually clinched the 2025 championship for the division, Nickolas Hovey of Chaplin won his third 602 Modified feature in four events and won the division’s championship and Brody Monahan of Waterford won the 100-lap Hoosier Pro Late Model feature.
