On March 24, six days before the originally scheduled date for the running of the NASCAR Modified Tour Icebreaker 150, it was announced that longtime Modified Tour series director Jimmy Wilson would be taking another position within NASCAR.
It was announced at that point that Wilson would remain in his position as series director until a replacement was named. Rumors have swirled that Jesse Little was a likely replacement for Wilson.
