
On a day apparently overflowing with turmoil and drama at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl, one thing stayed normal.
In the SK Modified division at the Speedbowl in 2025, “normal” has been Andrew Molleur celebrating victories, and that was the normal once again Saturday.
Molleur scored victory in the 35-lap SK Modified feature Saturday at the Speedbowl.
It was the fifth victory in seven events this season at the Speedbowl for the Shelton driver. Molleur’s other finishes this season in the division are a third place and a ninth place.
Todd Owen of Somers was second and Timmy Jordan of Plainfield third.
Derek Gluchacki of Dartmouth, Mass. won the 100-lap Late Model feature.
Ryan Kuhn of East Bridgewater, Mass was second and Tyler Chapman of Mystic third.
Nickolas Hovey of Chaplin scored his third win of the season in the 25-lap SK Light Modified feature.
Tyler Chapman of Ellington was second and Sami Anderson of Wolcott third.
Ray Christian III of Uncasville topped the 25-lap Mini Stock feature.
Chris Garside of Groton was second and Andrew Krzeminski of East Hampton was third.
Ryan Lineham of Hope Valley, R.I. won the 25-lap Truck feature.
Brad Strickland of Uncasville was second and Austin Young of Waterford third.
