WINCHESTER, N.H. – Patrick Emerling scored his first NASCAR Modified Hoosier Tire Pole Award of 2025 in qualifying Saturday for the USNEPower Duel at the Dog 200 at Monadnock Speedway.

Emerling, of Orchard Park, N.Y., set a fast lap of 11.487 seconds in qualifying around the high-banked quarter-mile Monadnock bullring.

It was the fifth career NASCAR Modified Tour pole for Emerling.

“We unloaded just so fast today,” Emerling said. “When we came off the truck and the way I was pulling up on guys was cool. We were good here last year and we were able to build a notebook and we were able to show up at the track even better. And that was what we did. We have been showing up good.

Last week [at Lancaster Motorplex] we had the best race car there as well. Here we still fired up good and I think that we are going to be really good.”

Anthony Nocella of Woburn, Mass. was second fastest in qualifying (11.543 seconds). Austin Beers of Northampton, Pa. was third fastest (11.567 seconds.). Beers goes into the event as the series points leader.

Justin Bonsignore was fourth fastest and Kyle Bonsignore fifth fastest of the 25 cars on track for qualifying.
