Beyond all his exploits on the track driving race cars, six-time NASCAR Modified Tour champion Doug Coby was also usually a reporter’s dream subject because he always had something interesting to say. And a salty Doug Coby was even more fun. And that was the case on Aug. 2, 2019 at Stafford Speedway following a NASCAR Modified Tour event at the track. On that night Coby looked to be on the way to a dominating victory before letting one slip away due a pit road miscue. After the race there was no shortage of words from Coby on the topic of rules and officiating and pit roads and so much more. We just stumbled into this audio the other day looking for something else and figured it would be a fun share. So let’s just take in the wonderfulness that was salty Doug Coby.
