Confrontation Between SK Light Mod Teams Leads To Multiple Suspensions At Stafford



A confrontation between members of two SK Light Modified teams at Stafford Speedway Friday has led to four people being suspended from the track, including one driver. 

SK Light Modified rookie Sophya Papp was handed a one week suspension and placed on probation for the remainder of the season. Papp was cited for “actions detrimental to auto racing, driver is responsible for crew member’s actions.” Papp was already on probation before Friday’s racing event. 

Dan Koerber, a crew member for Papp, was suspended for two events and cited for “actions detrimental to auto racing, unsportsmanlike conduct.” 

Tara Anderson, the mother of SK Light Modified driver Sami Anderson, was suspended for two weeks and cited for “actions detrimental to auto racing, unsportsmanlike conduct.” 

Alyssa Anderson, the sister of Sami Anderson, was suspended for two weeks and cited for “actions detrimental to auto racing, unsportsmanlike conduct.” 

Sami Anderson was placed on probation for two weeks and cited for “actions detrimental to auto racing; driver is responsible for crew member’s actions.”
