

THOMPSON – Ronnie Williams put on a clinic of domination Wednesday at Thompson Speedway.
The Lebanon driver led every lap on the way to victory in the 50-lap Thompson Outlaw Modified division feature.
Williams led by more than a second and a half at the checkered flag.
Chris Pasteryak of Lisbon was second and Jacob Perry of Pawcatuck third.
Williams controlled at the start, getting the jump on second place Pasteryak. Swanson got by Pasteryak to move to second in turn two on lap one.
The top three of Williams, Swanson and Pasteryak created a clear separation from the rest of the field by lap six.
Caution flew on lap 178 for the spinning car of Chase Cook in turn two.
On the restart Williams controlled at the front with Swanson slotting into second. Noah Korner used the outside lane to go by Pasteryak for third.
On lap 28 Pasteryak found the lane to regain third place from Korner.
By lap 30 Williams had opened up a little more than a half second lead over Swanson.
With Williams having opened up a 1.3 second lead, Swanson and Pasteryak were embroiled in a battle for second on lap 37. Pasteryak got by Swanson on lap 38. Perry was able to overtake Swanson for third place late in the event.
