(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway has unveiled the Full Throttle Club, a new rewards initiative designed to give back to the competitors who are the backbone of weekly racing at the historic half-mile. The program officially launches in 2026, kicking off with a Complimentary Tire Program for dedicated full-time race teams beginning in August 2026.
“We’ve been working on ways to support the weekly racers who make Stafford’s Friday night racing special” explained Stafford COO Paul Arute. “For 2026, we’re starting with a tire program that rewards teams competing full-time, through August, with complimentary tires for three consecutive weeks. We view the Full Throttle Club as a long-term investment in Stafford’s racing community and see this program expanding in the future with additional incentives and rewards for teams that commit to Stafford for the full season. These racers are the heart of what we do, and we’re committed to helping them stay on track for years to come.”
“We personally know what it takes to keep a race car on track week after week, and the Full Throttle Club is our way of making it easier to get to the track,” added David Arute, Stafford’s General Manager. “Prior to the final event of the 2025 season we were able to purchase tires for all of the full-time competitors and received incredible feedback. This pushed us to figure out how to make this even bigger in 2026.”
Full Throttle Club 2026
Eligibility: Teams that have competed in all scheduled events through August 14, 2026.
Reward: Complimentary tires for the next three completed events after August 14.

- SK Modified: 3 tires (9 total)
- Late Model: 1 tire (3 total)
- SK Light Modified:1 tire (3 total)
- Limited Late Model: 1 tire (3 total)
- Street Stock: 1 tire (3 total)

I was wondering, what does that translate to in $$$$$ Seems quite significant to me!
What a Fantastic tire program, August is when many teams run out of money, To have 3 consecutive weeks with free tires is just Incredible for the weekly teams.. WOW … most tracks get a cut of the tire money and gas money etc etc.. For Stafford to turn around and place that money back in the pockets of the teams is just Overwhelming positive good will …. The modified tires a close to $1000.00 bucks for a set of 4 tires… So the Track giving teams 9 free tires is like $2300.00 they don’t need to spend… Great program Stafford !!!
Stafford is a class act and is to be commended for this amazing program that helps all of their dedicated race teams.
