On Dec. 3 NASCAR held a second offseason tire test for American Racer tires at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna, Fla. NASCAR held its first test with American Racer on Nov. 5 at Jennerstown Speedway in Jennerstown, Pa.

The Whelen Modified Tour has run exclusively on Hoosier Racing Tires since 1999.
