Sam Rameau will be back to chasing a championship in Modified racing in 2026 and doing it with the backing of someone who has experience winning a big title.
The 23-year old Rameau will team up with longtime team owner and 1990 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Jamie Tomaino in 2026 to run full-time on the SMART Modified Tour.
Rameau will also make selected Whelen Modified Tour starts for Tomaino, including kicking off the season at the series opener at New Smyrna Speedway on Feb. 7.
