The combination of driver Andrew Molleur and Petty Cash Motorsports moving to the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series will not happen.

With the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series season opening Propane Plus Heating & Cooling 75 scheduled for Saturday at Thompson Speedway, Petty Cash Motorsports announced Tuesday morning that Molleur and the team have parted way.

Petty Cash Motorsports posted the following statement to social media on Tuesday morning: “Due to circumstances, Petty Cash Motorsports and Andrew Molleur have decided to part ways. We truthfully wish Andrew, his family and team nothing but the absolute best moving forward. We will updated you with PCM’s racing plans for the 2026 season.”

Molleur joined the team to compete in the SK Modified division at Stafford Speedway full-time prior to the 2024 season. Molleur went on to win the 2024 SK Modified championship at Stafford. Molleur finished eighth in the SK Modified standings for Petty Cash Motorsports in 2025.

In the offseason following the 2025 racing season, Petty Cash Motorsports announced that the team would transition from competing n the SK Modified division at Stafford to running full-time on the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series.

“I want to first and foremost thank them for the opportunity race for them,” Molleur told RaceDayCT. “Obviously they had some great drivers before me and they won races with every driver they had and they took a chance on me. We were able to go out and win some races and capture a championship together. We both won our first championship together and that was very special for me to go do that at a place like Stafford and to do it with those guys. It meant a lot. Last year we had some struggles but managed to get through it at as a team. Just unfortunate that it wasn’t going to work out going forward to take the next step. I just want to wish them the best in their future. I’m just looking forward to the Whelen Modified Tour race on Sunday with Danny Watts Racing.”

It was announced on March 7 that Molleur would compete full-time on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour for Danny Watts Racing. Molleur made his first start for the team on March 28, finishing 13th in the Virginia Is For Racing Lovers 200 at Martinsville Speedway. He will be back in action for the team in the Whelen Modified Tour Icebreaker 150 Sunday at Thompson Speedway.

Molleur is also expected to run selected SK Modified events for his family team this season at Stafford Speedway and the New London-Waterford Speedbowl. Molleur won the SK Modified championship driving for his family team at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl in 2025.
