Anybody that has been a regular attendee of events at Stafford Motor Speedway in 2015 has surely heard about the Late Model division’s points leading car owner.
Chace Bennett, the listed car owner for his dad Michael Bennett, has got to see his car win five times this year.
But now the three-year old car owner needs the prayers, love and support of many as he faces an unexpected battle.
Chace Bennett, the son of Michael Bennett, was diagnosed this week with Leukemia.
In an effort to help defray medical expenses for the Bennett family a GoFundMe page has been created for those looking to help support the #RaceForChace.
The GoFundMe page, created by Chace’s aunt Kaitlin Palko reads:
The Race For Chace is on! My nephew Chace was diagnosed August 3rd, 2015 with Leukemia at just 3 years old.
Chace is such a happy little boy aka such a ham, who loves anything with 4 wheels. On Friday nights Chace loves nothing more than to watch his Daddy race race cars and be surrounded by family and friends. Not even 1 month ago Chace was promoted to big brother status and is so proud to be one. Chace has some pretty incredible parents who are coping with a very life changing event.
We are raising money to defer medical expenses and see to it that Chace has a successful road to recovery. Any donation you can make is greatly appreciated. We can’t thank everyone enough for the flooding amount of support and prayers. #raceforchace
