The return of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour to Wall Stadium in Wall, N.J. after more than a decade away proved to be a wild night of chaotic destruction for the series at the historic high-banked one-third mile oval.

In the end it was Woody Pitkat proving survivor in the wreck marred event.

RaceDayCT’s Fran Lawlor hit the pavement at Wall on Saturday and documented the day.
