On Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, NASCAR used wet weather tires on an oval during competition for the first time. Following a two hour and 15 minute rain delay, the last 72 laps of the event were run on a wet track with wet weather tires. The tires and track conditions changed entirely the way drivers ran the track with drivers finding different groves and lanes all over the 1.058-mile oval. Today’s poll question asks, what did you think of the wet weather tire racing Sunday at NHMS? Vote below.

I enjoyed watching drivers try all sorts of different lines to try and find grip. I did not enjoy that nearly half the laps after the change were run under caution because of all the crashing. For me personally, it wasn’t worth the trade-off.
