Whelen Modified Tour Event At North Wilkesboro Speedway Rescheduled To Oct. 20

NASCAR announced Thursday that the Whelen Modified Tour Brushy Mountain Powersports 150 event originally scheduled for Satuday at North Wilkesboro Speedway has been rescheduled for Sunday, Oct. 20 at 2 pm.

NASCAR announced the postponement of the event earlier this week in cooperation with local authorities to ensure local emergency resources would remain dedicated to dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene’s impact in the area.

Three events remain on the Whelen Modified Tour schedule this season. The division is back in action on Oct. 13 at Thompson Speedway. The season finale for the series is scheduled for Oct. 26 at Martinsville Speedway.

Reigning series champion Ron Silk holds an 11-point advantage over second place Justin Bonsignore in the series standings. Patrick Emerling sits third in the standings, 16 points behind Silk.
