The Northeast Classic is currently scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
With a forecast including weather concerns over the weekend in Loudon, N.H., event organizers from the Milton Cat American-Canadian Tour and the Pro All-Stars Series offered a weather update on Tuesday afternoon.
The below information was shared through the official social media channels of event organizers.
As we have done for what seems like the last month between Thompson and now NHMS, we are monitoring the forecasted weather for this weekend at NHMS.
If the event is unable to run this weekend, it would move to Friday April 18th (Practice and Inspection Day) and Saturday April 19th for the race event with all of the same start and open times for the Race Day portion of the event (Friday start times would be TBA)
The potential weather related issues with the event at Loudon are multi fold, with the amount of forecasted rain and temperatures for this weekend, it would make track drying a very difficult task as there is no track drying equipment available. Additionally it would make the very popular backstretch parking unavailable due to the conditions.
The managing partners are and have been speaking multiple times a day about this event and will continue to monitor it.
