
The dominant force of SK Modified racing this season at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl continued to be Andrew Molleur on Saturday.
Molleur scored victory in the 35-lap SK Modified feature Saturday at the Speedbowl.
It was the fourth victory in six SK Modified events this season at Waterford for Molleur, of Shelton.
Eric Berndt of Cromwell was second and Todd Owen of Somers third.
Molleur holds a 12-point lead over Anthony Flannery in the SK Modified division standings.
Al Stone III of Durham scored victory in the 25-lap Street Stock feature.
It was the first win of the season for Stone, who extended his record as the division’s all-time winningest driver to 69 victories.
Ike Chima of New London was second and Mike Caprio of Clinton third.
Christopher Garside of Groton won the 25-lap Mini Stock feature. David Lee of Norwich was second and Randy Churchill Jr. of Oakdale was third.
Jaysin Beal of Ledyard topped the 25-lap Truck feature. Charles Beal of Ledyard was second and Cameron Varricchio of Berlin third.
