Daily Grind: Banquet Time At Waterford; Peg Gaudreau Remembered; Little T Family Night

The Waterford Speedbowl will honor its 2013 champions Saturday night during the track’s annual banquet at the Groton Inn & Suites in Groton.

Daily Grind 300 BoxOver 400 guests are expected with numerous awards to be handed out beyond the coveted championships. The track’s 2014 schedule will also be announced.

Tickets are available for purchase at the door on Saturday for $45 per person. Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. following with dinner and awards at 7 p.m.

— Tom “Sid” DiMaggio and the crew at Sid’s View put together a touching remembrance of former Waterford Speedbowl team owner Peg Gaudreau, who passed away earlier this week.

— The Little T Quarter Midget Club will host its Family Night Out at Tri State Speedway in Dudley, Mass. on Feb. 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The event is open to the public. The cost is $40 for those racing and $20 for non-racers. The proceeds will go to supporting the Little T Quarter Midget Club.
