The Professional Drag Racers Association will make its debut for the 2014 racing season and the series has named Riverside, N.J. based RH2 Way as its exclusive provider of two-way communications systems.
The 2014 PDRA series will feature eight events, with the season opening at Rockingham (N.C.) Dragway April 4-5. The series will also compete at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Valdosta, Ga. (May 9-10), Memphis (Tenn.) International Raceway (May 23-24), US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Mich. (June 27-28), Virginia Motorsports Park in Richmond, Va. (July 25-26), Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway in Tulsa, Oklahoma (Aug. 15-16), Rockingham (Sept. 5-6) and close the season at Richmond (Oct. 10-11).
RH2 Way is owned by Gino DiFilippo Jr., a former NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour crew member and longtime track communications service specialist and dealer for short track racing teams and facilities throughout the Northeast.
“We’re proud to be a part of the inaugural season for the PDRA and can’t wait to get to Rockingham for the season opener,” DiFilippo said. “The PDRA is creating a great place for drag racers to compete and we look forward to working closely with them at all their events to provide fully for all their radio needs.”
