Weekend weather doesn’t look bad so far. Looks like the biggest problem will be the snow they are talking about. Warm up to 50 on Friday and the weekend. But might be too late to melt all the snow. Guess we’ll just have to see.
No Dwight Jarvis, that is too bad. Kind of sad that interest in modified racing seems to be dying in an area where once it was a real hot bed with the Claremont and Monadnock tracks.
Dwight Jarvis never races at Waterford anymore. He hasn’t attended that track in several years, his first race has traditionally been at the 2nd race.
Dwight has cut back on his racing schedule in recent years and shows no interest in waterford, Stafford or Thompson. As far as dying interest for modifieds at Claremont and Monadnock you can thank the promoters for that.
No Barrett or Matt Hirschman or Stefanik or Coby but what the hell. I’ll be there can’t wait.
Ya never know they might show up. After all it is just an unofficial list.
Do you think with more and more teams floating to VMRS then WMT that they will go from 26 Mods per show to more? For a hand full of teams don’t have to trek all the way home?
Paul,
That’s really a question to be asked of series management. But remember, there was a time when teams went home from most events before the feature on a regular basis. That’s part of the competition of it all. There was a time when just making the show was half the battle.
