The domination of Ryan Preece at the 2015 World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing was capped with the big one on Friday.

Preece, of Berlin, drove his TS Haulers Racing ride to victory in the Tour Type Modified division’s Richie Evans Memorial 100 at New Smyrna (Fla.) Speedway.

It was the fourth victory in six Tour Type Modified events at the World Series since last week.

Chuck Hossfeld of Ransomville, N.Y. was second and Eric Goodale of Centereach, N.Y. third.

Preece has crossed the finish line first in five of the six events Tour Type Modified events this year at New Smyrna. He was disqualified from victory on opening night because his car was too light, giving the victory to Justin Bonsignore.

On Wednesday Goodale passed Preece late for the lead to win the John Blewett III Memorial 76. Preece ended up third in that event.

  1. Andy Boright says

How many cars started this “big” event?

  2. not many

  3. Sixteen.

  4. I don’t know why everyone blowing his head up there is no competition down there to begin with. Not a Ryan hater but all these stories “dominates” obviously there is not a car there who spends the money TS haulers does, anyone could get in that car and “dominated” down there.16 cars it was a heat race.we will see what happens on the tour with a whole different set of drivers who spend the money to win like TS haulers.

  5. A win is a win.
