(Press Release from Granite State Pro Stock Series)
The Granite State Pro Stock Series’ finale at New London-Waterford Speedbowl will have an added twist, as The Racing Guys have put up extra money for drivers competing in the Bemer’s Big Show 150.
An extra $1100 will be up for grabs to Granite State Pro Stock Series (GSPSS) drivers, courtesy of the organizers of the Tri-Track Open Modified Series (TTOMS).
The winner of the Bemer’s Big Show 150, the final championship event of the season, will receive an extra $200 in their paycheck. The remaining $900 will be split by the top five Seekonk Speedway and Riverhead Raceway drivers in the field.
TTOMS promoter James Schaefer continued, “I’m a Riverhead [Raceway] guy, and Dick Williams has a special place for Seekonk [Speedway] in his heart, so this will be a little fun for us.”
Seekonk Speedway and Riverhead Raceway regulars that pre-enter for the Bemer’s Big Show 150 will be eligible for the bonus money. The highest-finishing driver of the eligible entrants will receive $300, with the second driver taking home an extra $225. The third eligible driver will pick up $150, while the fourth will receive $125, and the fifth driver earning $100.
Schaefer explained, “We wanted to give a little motivation to drivers to compete at a place that isn’t their home track, to play out of their sandbox.”
The Bemer’s Big Show 150 will crown the 2015 Granite State Pro Stock Series Champion at New London-Waterford Speedbowl, on October 24. To register for the event, or for more information on the Granite State Pro Stock Series, contact Mike Parks via email, [email protected].
The Bemer Big Show is a great name for whatever that is worth. I’m shocked LIM is putting any money towards fendered cars. I though that was against his racing religion. LOL.
