Stafford Motor Speedway has announced that Paradiso Financial & Insurance has joined the track’s contingency program for the 2016 season. Paradiso Insurance will provide a bonus of $75 to each DARE Stock feature winner throughout the 2016 season for a total contribution of $1,650. Combined with contingency bonuses from Jeff Ramsey Carpentry and New England Racing Fuel, drivers will be racing for nearly $5,000 in contingency bonuses during the 2016 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season.
The Paradiso Insurance bonus continues a tradition of the Paradiso family supporting Stafford’s DARE Stock division as Joe Paradiso was the title sponsor of the Paradiso-Muska Shoot-Out, a season ending race that was reserved for DARE Stock feature winners.
“We wanted to help the Stafford community out since there’s a lot of Stafford guys and girls that race,” said Chris Paradiso, Owner of Paradiso Financial. “My father really always liked the DARE Stock division and this is a way for me to be able to continue something that he had started. I don’t know if people realize just how much the speedway impacts local businesses. It’s bigger than most folks can imagine. The speedway is a staple of the town of Stafford and it’s the last thing we have in town after we lost Baker’s Furniture and I want to see the track do well. We’re looking at it like we’re helping local racers and local people. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if the winners come from Stafford or not, we just want to be able to help and hopefully make a difference. The racing community is full of good people.”

The first Paradiso Insurance contingency bonus of the 2016 season will be up for grabs during Stafford Speedway’s 45th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler Weekend on April 22-24. Tickets for the “Greatest Race in the History of Spring” are on sale now at the Speedway Box Office. Tickets are priced at $38.50 for adult general admission tickets, $5.00 for children ages 6-14, and children ages 5 and under are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. Reserved seating is priced at $42.00 for all ages. As always, Stafford Motor Speedway offers free parking with overnight parking available. All tickets are good for both Saturday and Sunday admission. All ticket prices include 10% CT Admission Tax.
