The 2016 season at Stafford Speedway has been a banner year for the track’s contingency program. With over $50,000 set to be paid out among Stafford’s five NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions this year, the track has announced that 32 Signs of Baltic has become the newest member of the track’s contingency program.
32 Signs will offer a rotating bonus of $100 to the second place finishers of the Late Model and Limited Late Model feature events. The bonus will start out with the Late Model division and then the bonus will switch to the Limited Late Model division for the following week. The $100 bonus will rotate between the two for the remainder of the 2016 season.
“Looking at the strong list of contingency partners Stafford has lined up this season, I figured that the SK and SK Light divisions were covered so I wanted to get involved with the divisions that needed a little extra help,” said Tom Abele, Jr., owner of 32 Signs. “I’m looking forward to helping drivers out through the contingency program. As a racer myself, I’m well aware of how much help a little extra money can be.”
32 Signs will also have a presence on the midway at Stafford this season. Abele will have a state-of-the-art trailer on the midway located near the Stafford Novelty Booth which is capable of printing individual driver shirts and custom event shirts on the spot. They have several different template designs to choose from with two pricing options; lighter color shirts are $20 and darker color shirts are $25. 32 Signs will also contribute a percentage of tee-shirt sales to drivers based on sales of individual driver’s shirts.
“We’re really all about trying to help the racers out in any way we can,” said Abele. “With the new trailer equipped with a mobile printing machine, we are ready to accommodate the fans and driver’s needs.”
