Stafford Notes: Tony Membrino Jr., Zack Robinson And Josh Wood Record Victories

Tony Membrino Jr. celebrates his fourth SK Light Modified victory of the season at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl Saturday

Tony Membrino Jr. of Berlin rolled to his fifth victory in nine starts this season Friday in the 20-lap SK Light Modified feature at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Joey Ferrigno of East Hartford, second to Membrino in the standings by six points coming into the evening, was second. David Arute of Tolland was third.

Zack Robinson of Putnam became the seventh different winner in nine events this year in the 15-lap DARE Stock feature.

Alexandra Fearn of East Longmeadow, Mass. was second and Tyler Trott of East Hartford third.

Josh Wood of Palmer, Mass. rolled to victory in the 30-lap Late Model feature. Kevin Gambacorta of Ellington was second and Tom Fearn of East Longmeadow, Mass. third.

  1. Car counts are a joke, too many divisions. Drop the late models or limited and then you will have one division with 20 cars

    I agree. Merge the limited late models and late models into one division. I remember when the late models had 30 cars and a consi for the heat races. And please get rid of the legends cars.
