Comments

  1. Why wouldn’t the sk lite coil spring rule be the same as the sk?

  2. Still hanging onto the ridiculous late models?? 12 cars is not a division

  3. Get rid of the SK’s and return to full blown NASCAR Modifieds weekly. Make the SK Lite’s the 2nd tier Division, get rid of the Late Models. That way when the tour comes to town you will have some of the Stafford Modified regulars in the field and make it fun for the fans. Also make the Tour races regular weekly point races for the teams running for the Stafford tittle. it sure does work for the 410 sprint car Division. It would work for Stafford Speedway. Stop with all of the rules madness and make the Modifieds whole again.

  4. i agree………fans have been asking for several years now to combine the late models and limited late models or something to that effect. i even heard a fan call in to the victory lane radio show recently when they had the stafford race director on air and mention this. last night we got to watch 7 cars drive around all spread out for 30 freaking laps because 4 or 5 dropped out on a lap 1 wreck (12 cars total). about as fun as watching the 4 legends cars ride around. but again, before the season is even over they have already released the rules showing the same ole same ole. UGH!!!

  5. it is all about the money ….the amount that goes into the arutes bank account ….less cars in each class means less to pay out ….they love 20 car sk’s ….12-15 other divisions as long as the fans still show up …..they pay out nothing in 2016 dollars to the racer …rape the back gate …sell all the food and beer you can drink then order up the brinks truck on monday ….the real truth is the huge paydays they make on the mod tour shows ….for a fact i know if they fill most of there grandstand on the sizzler weekend it pays all the expenses for the track for a YEAR …that would be like the total of one month of your paycheck covered your cost to live for the rest of the year !!!! … think about that ….heck back in the 80’s they were paying 2000 to win 30 lap tour type modifieds ever friday night …plus a overflow of sk’s and a full field of street stocks ….2000 in the 80’s is the same as over 6000 today !!!! the only thing that will make things change at that track is if the fans staying home …..happened in 1987 when they threw out the real modifieds ….ghost town …rumors track was for sale …brought them back in the tour form filled there pockets again ….rest is history 30 years later

  6. just a fan – if the shoe fits…
    Simple Definition of FACT
    • Something that truly exists or happens; something that has actual existence
    • a true piece of information
    Simple Definition of FAN
    • an enthusiastic devotee (as of a sport) usually as a spectator
    • an instrument for producing a current of air (may be hot air if the source is unreliable)
    Simple Definition of SIMPLE
    • an ignorant, foolish or gullible person
