Stafford Speedway has announced that hometown company Jeff Ramsey Carpentry will once again be a part of the track’s contingency program for the 2017 season. Jeff Ramsey Carpentry will provide a $50 bonus to each second place finisher in the DARE Stock division throughout the 2017 season for a total contribution of $1,100.
“We’ve always liked racing at Stafford, my family has been coming to Stafford since the ‘50s when the track was dirt,” said Jeff Ramsey, Owner of Jeff Ramsey Carpentry. “My uncle worked on Roy Messick’s car back in the day and I’ve been coming to the track since the ‘80s. We’re going to be coming to the track again this season and rather than helping out one driver with sponsorship, we want to help out a division. Last year, and I know $50 doesn’t sound like a lot, but all the DARE Stock drivers were so appreciative of our bonus and they took the time to write us thank you notes, which was pretty cool. We got to know a bunch of the drivers and it helps them with buying fuel or tires. With the drivers having to finish second in order to get the bonus, they have to go out and earn it rather than us just handing it out and the DARE Stock drivers always put on a great show for the race fans.”
Jeff Ramsey Carpentry is a locally owned business with expertise in a wide variety of carpentry needs. They do kitchens and bathrooms, windows, roofing and additions, barn building and restoration, decks, siding, doors, concrete work and repairs, property maintenance, and snow plowing.

The first Jeff Ramsey Carpentry contingency bonus of the 2017 season will be up for grabs during Stafford Speedway’s 46th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler Weekend on April 28-30. Tickets for the “Greatest Race in the History of Spring” are on sale now at the Speedway Box Office. Tickets are priced at $40.00 for adult general admission tickets, $5.00 for children ages 6-14, and children ages 5 and under are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. Reserved seating is priced at $42.00 for all ages. As always, Stafford Motor Speedway offers free parking with overnight parking available. All tickets are good for both Saturday and Sunday admission. All ticket prices include 10% CT Admission Tax.
