Free Play Unmuffled Quickcast: Remembering Richard “Bubby” Brouwer
On Tuesday the New London-Waterford Speedbowl lost a part of its fabric with the passing of longtime racer and employee Richard “Bubby” Brouwer.
Brouwer was a 31-time winner at the Speedbowl, a two-time champion and for the better part of the last two decades he was the man that knew all the ins and outs of keeping the place up and running.
Tuesday evening we talked to former track owner Terry Eames and former Speedbowl general manager Shawn Monahan about Brouwer and what he meant to the track. Listen to what they had to say on this Unmuffled Quickcast.
