STAFFORD – With an evening scheduled overflowing with events, it was a night chock full with action and drama Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Stafford hosted its second Open Modified event of the year with the running of the Bud Light Open 80, which was won by NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour regular Eric Goodale.

Eric Berndt snapped a nearly two-year long winless streak in the night’s regular 40-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified feature.

And adding to the uniqueness of the night was the running of the inaugural TC 13 Shootout immediately following the SK Modified feature. Glen Reen held off Todd Owen to score victory in the event.
