It wasn’t the best night of racing for Devin O’Connell, but it was enough to get the job done.
O’Connell, of Madison, brought his battered ride to a 16th place finish in the 100-lap Granite State Pro Stock Series feature Saturday at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl Finale Weekend event to capture his first series championship.
Ray Christian III of Uncasville won the feature, his first victory with the division
Gabe Brown of Center Conway, N.H. was second and Ben Rowe of Turner, Me. third.
