  1. See that’s why jumping to conclusions is rarely correct. I thought I was being fair saying Membrino was very competitive at Stafford which was correct but also saying he was moving to the Speedbowl because he can win which is also true but not the main reason. The main reason he explains, is very well stated and very logical. And very humbling for a fan. The only thing I would disagree with is that Tony doesn’t get worked up about what fans say. Only one or two people here made the bailing out deal a theme and yet it was clearly on his mind. Drivers always remember to bad things and never the good.

Perry is like manure, spread all over. Charismatic and perpetually enthusiastic. The Great Gadsby of local racing. A gadfly. Impossible for local fans without a personal relationship to support because he’s like a whack-a-mole never knowing where he’ll pop up. Yes his choices are stressful and don’t believe it for a minute it’s necessary to go everywhere and do everything to perpetuate a successful racing career. I’ll never believe that he would not be a championship caliber winning driver with the ability to attract the support needed were he to concentrate on one series. Another way to look at stress is the adrenaline it generates. The Jacob Perry schedule is an adrenaline junkies dream schedule of new, ever changing experiences.

Yet another reason to subscribe to Unmuffled. Never would have pegged Bessette like Myers to be so thoughtful and calculating with his focus. Not getting carried away with the next thing before accomplishing the current set of goals. You can’t get any of that in articles, social media, anywhere. And the questions framed so well to allow for revealing answers. So color me as surprised at the thought process as I was at the smooth modified driving style that makes me think natural. One of the few able to maximize a cars ability and consistently bring it home in one piece.
