Ryan Preece Wins SMART Tour Type Modified Event At South Boston Speedway

Ryan Preece made the most of his off weekend from his full-time job with the NASCAR Cup Series.

Preece used the weekend away from his JTG Daugherty Cup Series ride to make a return visit to victory lane in a Tour Type Modified.

Preece scored victory in the SMART Chevrolet 99 Saturday afternoon at South Boston (Va.) Speedway.

“We had a really good racecar,” Preece said in a release. “This is probably the best this car has ever been. It wasn’t easy. [Chuck Hossfeld] was real fast. Burt [Myers] was real fast. There were a lot of cars that I ended up having to race throughout the race. We made the right adjustments on the pit stop. We were able to get the lead and control it from there out.”

Hossfeld, of Ransomville, N.Y., was second and Myers, of Walnut Cove, N.C., third.

Preece led all but eight laps of the feature.

Preece became the third different winner in three SMART events in 2021 joining Matt Hirschman (Caraway Speedway – March 14) and Caleb Heady (Florence Motor Speedway – March 20).

Preece, the 2013 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion, will be right back in a Modified at another Virginia track in less than a week.

Preece will compete in the Whelen Modified Tour season opening event on Thursday at Martinsville (Va.).

  1. Great news!!!! Always good to see Preece winning. He’s in control of his Modified destiny, and he knows how to get to VL.

In other news, Brazil is getting decimated by a deadly COVID variant, #P1. It is far more transmissible, like 2.5 times more transmissible. Outside of Brazil, the largest #P1 outbreaks are in Canada 🍁 🇨🇦 in a western province, the Whistler area, and Cape Cod. Yep, Cape Cod, MA. So far, 14 players of the Vancouver Canucks are sidelined and all games and practices are suspended. The MLB has had to postpone games already, and they just opened up this week.

Be careful. Wear a mask, social distance. Get the vaccine.

    Feeling lucky?

    Don’t be an idiot.

  2. I am very HAPPY the SMART TOUR is having some nice fan friendly weather to start the season. They really need to put their best foot forward to get the TOUR on solid footing. Ryan Preece and Matt Hirschman are lending a Nice hand getting the Wheels turning !! Good Luck with SMART Tour in 2021

  3. 40 cars entered for Thursday. Just saying…

  4. The Atomic Punk says

Yes Dareal. This is what happens when you put the CCP in charge an open up the border to positive testing illegals….Yes i am one of the crazy who feel you should show ID when voting…. Just like Delta makes you show ID to fly.

  5. 40 cars, copy that. Now the question of whom. A big SMART contingent?

  6. Atomic Punk ☢️, what’s a CCP?

  7. Atomic Punk, the border was not opened up. The $29 billion spent on it was a total failure. Clearly it is not working.

“Fixed fortifications are monuments to man’s stupidity. If mountain ranges and oceans can be overcome, anything made by man can be overcome.”

Yep Dafella and that deadly Brazilian varient will be here in no time because of…..Trump

  9. Sharpie Fan says

Anybody know when or if the Martinsville Mod Tour race will be televised? Not PPV or streaming.
I printed out the list that was published at the beginning of the year (NBCSN) but it appears that is already obsolete.

  10. Congrats to Ryan for the win.
As far as Covid, stop being stupid and making excuses. This thing kills, and even if you get it and survive, you’ll likely face long term health effects. Be Smart, Mask Up, we a far from the end of this.

  11. The Atomic Punk says

CCP= Chinese Communist Party… But you’re so smart you already knew that

  12. “Atomic Punk, the border was not opened up. The $29 billion spent on it was a total failure. Clearly it is not working.”

And who changed the policy shortly after he became president in January 2021 that created the crisis on the southern border? The spin doctor is in the house!

  13. David Fisher says

Congratulations to Preece and SMART. Now let’s see what the schedule can be expanded to if the stadium doesn’t open.

  14. wmass01013 says

I thought CCP was Carll and Charlie Pastreyak racing!!!
Lets not sprint before we walk with the SMART tour, they have had 3 good races with nice crowds and very decent fields of cars, let them work around the Madhouse and gain some strength, yea i know BG cancelled opener because of RESTRICTIONS and most likely Apr 24 as well will be called but BG needs to operate, that is an event any racing fan needs to witness in a lifetime!
Prayers and good wishes to Tim Brown after a very hard hit to the wall At SB.
Lets all have fun at the 1st NIGHT RACE for WMT At the paperclip!!!

  15. Martinsville entry list should be out “early next week” according to Shane Ryan Bailey.
NASCAR has it’s critics for sure but this is kind of a surprise isn’t it. 40 cars. Who?
Just proves no one can bring the juice for the big shows like NASCAR………….still.
Then it’s off to the Icebreaker and it will be over 10 drivers that compete in both races it looks like.
Pictures of Rameau’s and Sapienza’s haulers are impressive. To say the least.
Pandemic won’t go away. Too many poor countries incubating mutants that will spread and a continuing war with counter measures and vaccine variants and boosters is inevitable. Not to worry the human race is tenacious as well, life will go on and this will be the best regional racing season for quite some while.
Candy and politics may be the favorite on RaceDayCt but we can sneak in a little racing every now and then.

  16. 🌈🦄2020, correct, the magnitude of the pandemic is all on Trump, the experts all concur, it was mismanaged when it began, leading to this mess, Hence, TrumpPandemic. And why racing is at risk. But hey, if you want to inject a commercial disinfectant and shove a UV light up your wahzoo, have at it. Remember that?

Atomic Punk, that’s so cute, and Trumpian. You must feel so proud.

Earl, the southern border was a huge crisis from 2017 through 2020. Not only that, the $29 billion spent on a useless wall was a total waste. So please explain in detail the changes in policy that happened in 2021 that made things any different at the southern border. Go ahead. 🔪 Keep in mind that you are saying there’s a crisis at the southern border, confirming that the wall is not working. 😝😝😝😝

And the people coming in across the southern border are not the cause of the TrumpPandemic or the material change in COVID statistics. It’s the crazy white people, Trumpians, that will not do what is needed that is driving the persistence of the TrumpPandemic. The rest are collateral damage.

Good race. Ryan owned them, as expected.

  19. Covid is on the rise in MA. Death average is where it was in June of last year. The rate of infection is back over 2%, which is what caused the state to pull back on reopening last fall, yet now it’s full speed ahead. Seems people are over it
Hope everyone stays safe until you get vaccinated. Many people are still dying before they get the chance. Don’t forget were only about 25 % vaccinated, and that’s first shot numbers. We’ve still got a long way to go and literally just a short time to get there.
Instead of beating the subject of Trump to death.( Yes he’s responsible for this mess)
Let’s remember those who have needlessly die. The problem started long before Trump.

  20. Great race and finish at Mahoning this weekend as well.

Dareal perhaps one of the local CT tracks will provide you a bubble to watch the races in so you can feel safe; but I wonder if that will take away from their 50% capacity. Meanwhile here in free America FL race tracks are full, where a mask if you feel the need and live life.

The two most important things Dareal failed to mention, wash your hands and Increase your Vitamin D intake via getting outside or with Suppliments. Do your home work on vaccine side affects and get vaccinated if you feel you need too.

  21. Oh Chris, you present yet another target rich environment. You must share DNA with knuckles mahoney.

Please explain this, “Meanwhile here in free America FL race tracks are full, where a mask if you feel the need and live life.”

Wearing a mask is far more important than washing hands and Vitamin D. The mask captures and prevents the expulsion of the pathogen 🦠, dramatically reducing the chances of contaminating someone else, and further spreading the TrumpPandemic. Think, if you can… why do operating room folks wear surgical masks? 😷

Washing hands has always been important. Good hygiene should not be something new because of COVID-19. And Vitamin D does not prevent infection as much as it reduces the seriousness of the infection. Keep in mind that the food supply is already fortified with Vitamin D. Milk has been fortified with Vitamin D since the 1900s because of the severe deficiency of normally occurring Vitamin D in the promoted American diet. The American diet is woefully deficient in Vitamin D, hence it needs to be supplemented to get it right. If the American diet were not such a mess, and more focused on what is nutritious instead of salable, this discussion of Vitamin D would not be taking place.

I can remember the ads, from when I was a kid, promoting the use of salt, sugar, and butter. That would never happen today. Salt 🧂use needs to be dramatically reduced, sugar is bad news, and butter 🧈 is being marginalized. These three have been determined to be the causes of much disease and illness, yet were promoted 50 years ago as healthful and necessary in large quantities.

This is 100% FALSE! Masks are worthless, as confirmed by actual science (as opposed to the agenda driven pseudoscience being peddled here).

Offeddu, V. et al. (2017) “Effectiveness of Masks and Respirators Against Respiratory Infections in Healthcare Workers: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis,” Clinical Infectious Diseases, Volume 65, Issue 11, 1 December 2017, pages 1934–1942,
“Self-reported assessment of clinical outcomes was prone to bias. Evidence of a protective effect of masks or respirators against verified respiratory infection (VRI) was not statistically significant.”

Bin-Reza et al. (2012) “The use of masks and respirators to prevent transmission of influenza: a systematic review of the scientific evidence,” Influenza and Other Respiratory Viruses 6(4), 257–267.
“There were 17 eligible studies. … None of the studies established a conclusive relationship between mask/respirator use and protection against influenza infection.”

Long, Y. et al. (2020) “Effectiveness of N95 respirators versus surgical masks against influenza: A systematic review and meta-analysis,” J Evid Based Med. 2020; 1–9.
“A total of six RCTs involving 9,171 participants were included. There were no statistically significant differences in preventing laboratory-confirmed influenza, laboratory-confirmed respiratory viral infections, laboratory-confirmed respiratory infection, and influenza-like illness using N95 respirators and surgical masks. Meta-analysis indicated a protective effect of N95 respirators against laboratory-confirmed bacterial colonization (RR = 0.58, 95% CI 0.43-0.78 ). The use of N95 respirators compared with surgical masks is not associated with a lower risk of laboratory-confirmed influenza.”

As far as COVID mortality goes,

“According to the United States’ Center for Disease Control (CDC), the updated age-group survival rates for COVID-19 happen to be: Ages 0-19 (99.997 percent); 20-49 (99.98 percent); 50-69 (99.5 percent); and 70+ (94.6 percent). The mortality rates are only slightly higher than the human toll from seasonal flu and, in fact, are lower than they are for many other ailments for the same age cohorts.”

Put facts before feelings and stop enabling tyrants.

  26. Punk, the quote I printed was made by dacellardweller towards you. I used that quote and directed back to him, not you.

Dadweller knows more hibernating in his basement than those living and working as border patrol agents on the southern border. Change in policy by the newly elected administration has created the crisis.

Now added to the constant insults we have 🔪 threats by dafella when he doesn’t get his way, wonder what’s next?

  27. Replying to GP…

Only an idiot can write something this stupid: “This is 100% FALSE! Masks are worthless, as confirmed by actual science (as opposed to the agenda driven pseudoscience being peddled here).”

    Here’s some science for you:

GP, you really gonna go up against the CDC and all other bonafide experts on this? Is this the hill you wanna die on?

Hey GP, why do operating room personnel wear masks, and have been for decades and decades?

You should just get “IDIOT” tattooed across your forehead.

GP, the normal seasonal flu was nearly nonexistent this past season. Any idea why? The masks the people were wearing profoundly attenuated the spread of the season flu. 🤧 😷 🤒 COVID-19 is HIGHLY transmissible, which is why and how it is so dangerous. 🦠

  28. Atomic Punk wrote, “Well Earl I’ve only heard it from the Border patrol people and the folks living on the border…Then again you would naturally know more than they do on the subject”

You’re probably not going to click on the links but I can summarize it pretty simply. The Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, CDC and every other expert organization with current experience and data with Covid19 comes to the same conclusion. Masks work. More specifically masks in concert with hygiene and social distancing.

I’ve seen that study referenced. It’s popular in right wing media conveniently cherry picked to accomplish a specific result. It is not pertinent to a virus spreading in the general population nor is it relevant to Covid19. There is better current data.

Yet here we are a year later, all the sick and dead, packed hospitals, health care workers at the end of their rope and still this misinformation is foisted on the public from right wing media primarily. And lets be honest here. It’s not about the efficacy of masks is it. It’s about a troublesome percentage of the population that rather then suck it up and show a little civic responsibility whine and cry and piss and moan about the intrusion to their personal liberties like each one of them is their own sovereign nation.

Hygiene, masks and distance. What’s so hard to understand? It clearly works and works well. The idea that you have the same risk with or without masks standing next to a person coughing and hacking with a viral infection is ridiculous. Last year the White House was tested daily for Covid19, did not wear masks and the virus ran rampant through the staff. And yet here we are still debating mask usage.

    Come on man!!!

Sorry Dadope, but again you’re completely blinded by hatred, and brainwashed. Don’t think you know why surgeons wear masks in the OR. As a surgeon, I can tell you that you have no clue. I will give you a little hint about science. Unless it’s a true double blinded study it’s worthless. If A, then B is not science, it’s conjecture. As you can see GP gave you articles that refute the effectiveness of masks, and the mortality data of Covid, and you come back with suggestions from the CDC. Talk about stupid. So for every article out there, you can find a counter article. Again, unless it’s a true double blinded study, is it completely useless. Mask studies are like diet studies, all junk.

  34. knuckles is a surgeon?????? 😝😝😝😝😛😛😛😛 What kind? Tree surgeon? Fish monger? Butcher? What grocery store do you work at?

Why are doctors wearing masks and face shields now in regular, office appointment settings? Why have regular office visits moved from in-person office visits to telemedicine?

You don’t even know what “double blind” means. How do I know that? How would it even apply to wearing masks? 😷 Placebo masks? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

And dafella has the testicular fortitude to press the issue with knuckles about his qualifications?Unfreaking believable 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

  38. Earl, basket weaving is not engineering. Basket 🧺 weaving is an art, and is taught in art school. Don’t feel bad, you aren’t expected to have known that. You really are a special kind of idiot.

The names of the schools I graduated from would mean nothing to you. The number of engineering degrees and the areas of concentration of studies would be lost on you.

Your claim to fame is that you have 98.6º.

  39. Engineers, medical professionals including a surgeon, statistical experts, it takes my breath away. We are indeed fortunate to have such an elite group of people contributing to this topic.
We get the idea by now don’t we. There are those that deny any validity to the usage of masks and no amount of data, support from experts will sway them. Fortunately the vast majority do support mask usage. Stores, businesses, virtually any place where the public gongregates in larger numbers not only believe in masks they require their use for entry. Medical professionals all across the country universally are expected to use masks in their professional endeavors.
The mask truthers will also have you believe that introducing a new virus to the world population that kills large amounts of addition people is not a big deal either. A contributor to this forum last March referred to it as thinning the herd and strictly speaking he was right. Killing off the oldest and most vulnerable is what it has amounted to for the most part. If that’s not a big deal to you like Knuckles and GP have said in so many words there’s not really much to argue about.
While the truthers are at it why not include testing. I heard a caller the other day to WTIC AM state all the reasons the testing is overstated. She got it all from Red State the conservative blog. The host not questioning any facet of the callers statements. It was the narrative that was expected for the audience that it addressed and it because fact as soon as the words were spoken.
DarealGoodfella believes he an insult the truthers into compliance whereas I accept you for what you are. A small, vocal minority with your own belief system and your own facts that all spring from one belief that GP nicely encapsulated with the “tyrant” reference. That’s fundamental distrust for any government official or institution. It’s not really about masks, testing reliability, double blind studies or death rates. It’s about the perception that government officials and experts are fundamentally corrupt and not to be trusted.
I’m off to Home Depot now to pick up manure for my garden. Subliminally I suppose I can thank GP and Knuckles for the inspiration. In Home Depot everyone will be sporting masks and keeping their distance as best they can that is helping we in Ct to keep the infection rate mostly in the 3 to 4% range as the vaccination effort plays out.. The truthers like GP and Knuckles will be required to wear masks as well and for that I am very thankful.

  40. Doug, you forgot the other truther, Chris.

Completely wrong again dadope. I’m on nobodies side except science. Not Trumps side, not MSNBC’s side. Show me one, just one good double blinded study that shows masks work. Not recommendations, or conjecture, or feelings about wearing masks. Show me the study. I’m not saying they don’t work either. And I wear a mask everywhere, but at the end of the day, I’m a scientist, and feelings, or it sounds good, is not science. If you look at it pragmatically, I see people being pretty damn good about wearing masks, yet here we are, a year later. Oh, and I have seen a crap ton of terrible doctors in my career, so take what they say with a grain of salt a lot of times, and do your own research.

  45. knuckles, it’s not possible to do a double blind mask test. That is more idiotic than everything Doug has ever posted.

What are you going to do for a placebo mask? So you want to subject innocent people to a known carrier of a deadly pathogen while wearing the placebo mask? How stupid are you? Hey, maybe that’s why there aren’t any double blind mask conclusions.

Show me results for double blind bullet proof vest tests.

People are not good about wearing masks. 😷 Look at the crowded bars, cafes, restaurants, etc. There are clearly plenty of people, say ~73 million, that refuse to wear masks. 😷 And that’s more than enough to sustain an explosive situation ripe for surges. As a matter of fact, it has.

The Red States have squashed conducting and reporting COVID-19 testing.

One bad apple can spoil the whole barrel. Same here… a bunch of insolent idiots refusing to wear masks 😷 are making things very bad for everyone else.

Simple fact… the normal seasonal flu was nearly non-existent this past season because of the masks being worn as protection against the TrumpPandemic.

The COVID-19 virus 🦠 is far more transmissible than the normal flu, one of the characteristics making it far more dangerous and deadly.

After a year, it is know known that the COVID-19 virus 🦠 is transmitted predominantly through the aerosol conduit. That means MASKS are the primary, first line of defense, in the absence of a fully vaccinated population. 😷 And for further consideration, it has been statistically found that people wearing glasses 🤓 have a significantly less infection rate, concluding that the pathogen is infecting people through entry by ocular pathways. Remember the movie “Fantastic Voyage”? Also why folks in healthcare also wear full face shields as protection for the ocular intrusion path.

  50. Earl, I read the room. You are not the intended audience.

  51. You’re right, my default position is not to trust the government. Great thinkers going all the way back to Socrates have admonished us to always question authority. Blind obedience paves the road to subjugation.

Anyone capable of logical reasoning can look at the data from the last year and clearly see that masks and lockdowns had absolutely no effect.

No one “wants grandma to die”. There are far better ways to protect them than by destroying the lives snd livelihoods of everyone else though. You can read about Focused Protection at https://gbdeclaration.org/. Before you talk out of your nether regions and call that “right wing”, the authors, from Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford, are centrist or left leaning in their politics, not that it should matter.

I misspoke when I said no one wants to kill grandma. There were actually five people who apparently did and followed through with it. Andrew Cuomo, Gretchen Whitmer, Gavin Newsom, Phil Murphy, and Tom Wolf are directly responsible for the deaths of thousands of elderly people after they sent covid-positive patients to nursing homes. Where’s your outrage over that? Let me guess, they get a pass because they’re “noble public servants”, right? Lol

Do you really think that the use of masks 😷, social distancing, and good hygiene are violations of your Constitutional rights, liberty, and freedom? Speak clearly into the microphone 🎙.

So if you don’t like the current protocols of social distancing, masks, and good hygiene, what do you recommend instead? Claiming that the current protocols are violating your rights doesn’t cut it. How are you going to protect American lives from the COVID-19 coronavirus TrumpPandemic pathos?

And indeed, that crap you cited is ultra right wing nut job stuff. It’s nothing more than playing the victim card. Come up with a better solution that results in less people dying.

Regarding the nursing homes… nursing homes are safe havens to a certain degree. But the extreme transmissibility of the COVID-19 virus 🦠 is far greater than anybody had expected, hence even the protected environment of a nursing home was overwhelmed by this pathogen 🦠. Back then, nobody knew how this virus 🦠 worked. It is indeed a sad event. Now we know better. A nursing home, and any other environment where people are close together, is a breeding ground for the transmission and spread of this extremely highly contagious pathogen 🦠. This pathogen is not like the common cold or seasonal flu, it is far more dangerous.

Although we know much more today, and that the transmissibility of this pathogen 🦠 is off the charts, many such as Lindsey Graham, Abbott, Kemp, Cruz, DeSantis, Trump, Ron Johnson, Kristi Noem, etc. can win points with their donors and idiot voters by playing the victim card by calling the scientific protocols tyranny and a violation of liberties. I view staying alive the best way to maintain my liberties, and wearing a mask, social distancing and good hygiene are the best way to do that. Lindsey Graham, Abbott, Kemp, Cruz, DeSantis, Trump, Ron Johnson, Kristi Noem, etc. are pandering to their donors at the expense of American lives, to further enrich the already profoundly wealthy.

The crowds that have been happening lately are going to fuel outbreaks, and the number of cases is already rising (Red States have slowed testing and reporting), and deaths will follow the increase in cases. This is statistical fact. Over the 2020 winter holiday season, idiots traveled and socialized which fueled a huge surge in cases and deaths. Perfect example. Most people, the intelligent ones, can see this.

You are going to have to clearly identify the harm of the protocols vs the harm of being dead.

As of now, 1 out of every 583 American has died from the COVID-19. Feeling lucky, punk?

As long as idiots like you want to claim you are victims and your liberties are being violated, and you and your ilk want no measures taken to contain the COVID-19 pathogen 🦠, and you want to allow the free sharing and transmission of the deadly pathogen 🦠 , you are killing far more Americans than the nursing home situation did.

  53. GP wrote, “Anyone capable of logical reasoning can look at the data from the last year and clearly see that masks and lockdowns had absolutely no effect.”

    Just giving you more exposure.

  54. That would be Panda pandemics data & analytic It’s a propaganda operation started last April and de platformed by Youtube. Yet another fringe authoritative source designed for one thing, preaching to the choir. You can read all the howling about tyranny, the encroaching darkness and other unfettered hyperbole on Facebook.

You can check it all out but the thing I notice is GP’s approach. :Limbaugh may be dead but it’s pure Limbaugh. Directing an audience to a specific information source, admonishing those that don’t do as instructed as being uninformed and congratulating those that do for being educated on the topic.
Educated, trained, disciplined minds don’t direct you to propaganda or any one source for that matter and define it as the sum total of knowledge on a topic. They tell you to research many different sources of information to get a proper perspective then draw your own conclusion. The people that execute the research properly generally conclude the same thing as the preponderance of information from the most sources with the greatest credibility.
This particular bit of right wing nonsense is pure pedestrian grade social media poppycock in my view.

  55. Distrust of government. That’s the crux of it all right there.
Republicans in large numbers distrust the vaccine because it was ushered to approval by the government. They will accept no endorsement from a public figure including Trump for that very reason. The only thing that will get them on board is time and seeing their friends and neighbors get vaccinated, not have reactions and not get Covid19.
Distrust is the backbone of everything right of center now. Formerly conservative, fiscal responsibility, world leadership and personal values have been left behind. Now their only common thread is a distrust of government on every level.
Long ago conservatives were at Pearl Harbor when it got bombed, spent weeks in cold wet fox holes in front line combat duty and stormed ashore on Pacific islands and died in large numbers. They did what was necessary then came home, raised families, did their jobs and paid their taxes. They were the core the counties identity perfectly willing to sacrifice themselves and their wealth for the common good and the epitome of civil pride.
This current version of whatever the right is now is various shades of gray of GP. They have a fundamental distrust of government, have completely disassociated themselves from anything that could be considered civic responsibility and believe each issue must be negotiated and have a direct beneficial affect on each one of them individually.
When they don’t get what they want evil or dishonesty has to be the reason. So we get elections that were rigged and all these fringe social media sites by supposed experts that provide dubious logic for many beliefs and behaviors that are irrational, dangerous and clearly anti social.
And the simple, almost laughably small sacrifice of wearing a face mask has to be labeled as a means of government control and rendered unnecessary since after all that would require an iota of civic pride and responsibility.
If only the right had exercised some measure of social responsibility last March the minute that Trump started to dismiss the pandemic it could have all been so different. All they had to do is say no Mr. President, you’re wrong, this is dangerous and you need to lead us in the war against it. All of right wing media could have howled at the idea of the pandemic being dismissed. Trump would have shaped up, lead the war and cruised to victory in November. But you never questioned Trump and made him better.
You on the right lost the election for Trump by literally never questioning anything he did, never exhibiting the least bit of self sacrifice, common sense or civic pride, Trump took your lead and went on to lose and now you’re left with guys like GP, rigged elections, the My Pillow Guy and Panda analytics.

  56. I started replying to these last few posts, but I was reminded that it’s pointless to try to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person. You two intellectually bankrupt buffoons are incapable of independent logical thinking. You just keep spewing your lies (like saying the authors of the Great Barrington Declaration are “ultra right wing”) and ignoring the facts. The actual data is readily available for anyone with a modicum of intelligence to analyze. The results are clear – the states with the most restrictive policies fared no better, and in some cases worse, than those with minimal restrictions. That is an indisputable FACT. It’s also an indisputable FACT that the vast majority of people who are infected have no symptoms or mild symptoms comparable to the common cold. But you two don’t care about facts, so you probably shouldn’t look at the numbers. It’ll only taint your narrative.

And FYI Doug, I am neither a conservative nor a Republican. I may have once registered Republican to vote for a particular primary candidate, but I’ve also registered Democrat in the past for the same reason. Conservatives call me a liberal, leftists call me right wing. Neither is accurate.

Have fun avoiding the truth in your delusional little fantasy world.

  57. GP, you say masks and other current protocols don’t work, and most significantly that those protocols are tyrannical. So what are your recommendations to end the COVID-19 pandemic? 😷

The pandemic is impacting racing. What is your solution?

Until then, wear a mask, socially distance, and use good hygiene.

  58. GP wrote, “The results are clear – the states with the most restrictive policies fared no better, and in some cases worse, than those with minimal restrictions. That is an indisputable FACT. It’s also an indisputable FACT that the vast majority of people who are infected have no symptoms or mild symptoms comparable to the common cold.”

    Let’s break it down.

“The results are clear – the states with the most restrictive policies fared no better, and in some cases worse, than those with minimal restrictions. That is an indisputable FACT.”

Every state has different conditions, and attitudes towards being told what to do. For example, Libertarians and Tea Baggers refuse to be told what to do. So as extremists and subsets of the Republican slant, they were hammered even in the extremely low population flyover areas, such as rural California. States with high population density urban areas were going to get hit hard no matter what restrictions were imposed because this is an extremely contagious and transmissible pathogen. 🦠 The initial outbreak took root wherever there was an airport. That airport had people traveling through from all over the world, leaving behind infection. From those airports, the pathogen oozed out into the local area. It was classic, but far more transmissible and contagious 😷. Once the pandemic exploded in the northeast (NY, NJ, CT), the “restrictions” as you call it were a fire fighting exercise to put the flames out. It worked. Then people traveled for the winter holiday season and refueled the fire. Masks, travel restrictions, social distancing, etc. worked and work.

“It’s also an indisputable FACT that the vast majority of people who are infected have no symptoms or mild symptoms comparable to the common cold.”

This is true, but what is your point? Why are you ignoring that the rest of the people that get infected get extremely ill, die, and have debilitating symptoms for months?

As of now, >570,000 Americans have died from the pandemic. 😷 Are you aware of that? How many Americans die per year from the common cold?

Those people that get infected and have none to mild symptoms are good news. We want to stop the pandemic 😷 deaths that we are currently accumulating, currently at >570,000.

The United States has lost people at an alarming rate from this pandemic. Perhaps the worst record of the leading industrialized countries on this planet. 🌎 🌏 🌍 As of today, the USA has lost one person for every 583 people.

So if you go to an event with 10,000 people gathered, 17-18 lives can be considered an expense.

Already people are ignoring the safety protocols, and the number of cases has been rising in many states, with the deaths rates to follow.

What is wrong with people like yourself that make you want to constantly play the victim card, and be contrarian just to be so?

  59. GP, clearly you do not understand the contagiousness of this COVID-19 pathogen 🦠. This pathogen is HIGHLY transmissible.

To that truth is your comment, “It’s also an indisputable FACT that the vast majority of people who are infected have no symptoms or mild symptoms comparable to the common cold.” Well, that is why people need to wear masks, to CONTAIN the pathogen and prevent these people from releasing more pathogen 🦠 and infecting others. This then becomes a geometric explosion in the spread of the disease. 🦠 The wearing of masks 😷 and social distancing are the most important things people can do to prevent the transmission of this pathogen.

    Why are you against that?

  60. GP, Florida Gov. DeSantis made interesting news the other day when he said school children do not have to be COVID-19 vaccinated to return to school, that it was tyrannical, Gov’t overreach, etc. to require such a vaccine for children to return to school. However, Florida schools already MANDATE that school children are vaccinated against just about all other known diseases for which a vaccine is available, such as MMR, polio, pertussis, tetanus, etc.

    Please explain.

    Are you also anti-vax?

There are so many things that can be considered tyrannical. Anything you wish.

  61. I think there was some confusion. Mostly I referred to you as the right not to be confused with anything that is traditionally Republican or Conservative. An example of what the right has become. I wasn’t even addressing you so much as identifying you as an example.
So here we are where we knew we’d be. You name calling and labeling everyone that does not see the world as you do as being in a “delusional little fantasy world”. I believe you believe that. Everyone that does not share your dark, sinister, conspiratorial view of America must surely somehow be mentally challenged.
Including former Republican Leader of the House of Representative John Boehner. Who as it turns out uses more colorful language then I to describe whatever the thing the former Republican party was at one time is now. Including completely absurd positions shared only by the fringe like masks have absolutely no value in a pandemic and the increased death rate is insignificant.

  62. 🌈🦄2020 says

Study: 30% of people that have been vaccinated will still spend the rest of their lives in the basement “just in case”.

  63. I’ve got a question. What do you get when you combine Earl’s willingness to have a body appendage amputated before giving a Democrat any credit……….with a guy claiming that he has the skills to put it back on like knuckles mahoney………..with a guy like me that rambles on forever about things no one is going the read?

  64. “So you believe knuckles is a surgeon?”

The real question is do we believe dafella is an engineer?

  65. 🌈🦄2020 contributed:

Study: 30% of people that have been vaccinated will still spend the rest of their lives in the basement “just in case”.

That’s so sad. Should be 100%. The vaccine does not prevent the spreading and transmission of the pathos to other people that might not be vaccinated. We still need to wear masks, social distance, etc. until herd immunity is reached.

Masks prevent an infected person from expelling and spreading the virus.

A person that is vaccinated can still carry the virus 🦠 and be considered infected, and fully capable of spreading the pathogen to others. The vaccine prevents an infected person from getting sick and dying. A fully vaccinated person can still spread the pathogen to others, including unvaccinated people that may get very sick and die as a result.

Furthermore, the drug companies are already working on a newer and better COVID-19, and its variants, vaccines. This is far from over.

  66. 🌈🦄2020 says

Do we believe Dafella is a engineer? Does a bear crap in the woods? Not only do we believe that. We believe he is a expert on everything from Trump to the virus to Melissa Fifield. Come on Earl. Stop asking stupid questions.

  67. You can take GP and knuckles mahoney and their irrelevant, outdated studies and that ridiculous podcast fact porn and lump it in with the rigged election. The My Pillow Guy that hasn’t lost a beat insisting he has the proof and QAnon. If you have proof you don’t sight a podcast then insult people you list several other expert sources to support your statements.
The CDC has issued guidance on when it’s appropriate not to wear a mask. It’s so convoluted I could care less about those rules. I don’t care if the virus could be spread by those that have been immunized. I wear the thing routinely as a civic responsibility in consideration of others in my community. It’s younger people getting infected now at very high rates and they need to be shown some respect and consideration. Plus I like the idea of a defense against all the other colds and viruses that normally float around. Someone coughs or sneezes when we’re out and about it’s nice knowing there’s something to contain part of the nasty even if it isn’t 100%. I like the idea that the bulk food in the grocery store where people seem to think they need to touch every piece is more likely to be handled by cleaner hands.
Question: how many colds and other viruses did you get over the winter?

  68. Ok, one more reply…

The “delusional little fantasy world” comment was for those of you who refuse to look at the actual data. Facts and numbers aren’t liberal or conservative, they just are what they are. The numbers show masks and lockdowns don’t work. Fauci will say something like “we know masks and lockdowns work” and his cult repeats the phrase in unison. But there is absolutely no evidence to back up that statement.

Every one of Fauci’s doom and gloom predictions when a state has lifted restrictions had failed to come true. The Super Bowl was going to be a super spreader event. Nope. Texas is opening too soon, their numbers are going to go through the roof. It’s been a month, Texas is doing just fine. I could go on. The only two options are that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about, or he’s pushing an agenda. Either way, no one should be taking his advice at this point.

And you trying to dismiss the Pandata website as “right wing propaganda” is just a bad faith tactic that people use when they don’t have a good counter argument. Find a flaw in the data, don’t be that guy.

Someone mentioned the vaccine. I’m not “anti-vax”, but I won’t be getting that shot. Typical vaccine development takes 7 years. This was what, 7 months? There have been adverse effects reported but we don’t know what the risk is because there haven’t been any long term trials. This is essentially a trial that’s going on right now. It’s also important to note that none of the vaccines have been approved by the FDA. Emergency use authorization is not the same as their rigorous approval process. And that doesn’t even ensure safety (see Vioxx).

  69. GP,

What are you selling? What is your end game?

Make a point already. You are the one, with Panda, that has no point, no apparent end game. All you are doing is taking pot shots that aren’t landing. The pot shots are false, wrong, idiotic, delusional, baseless, etc.

You are railing against COVID-19 safety protocols. Keep in mind that an extremely large portion of the population refuses to follow the COVID-19 safety protocols, hence the appearance that the COVID-19 protocols do not work. Since millions of people are not practicing safe COVID-19 protocols, of course the results will show that. There are lots of idiots out there that refuse to do what they are told to do, or even recommended to do. And in the cities and other urban areas, it is very difficult to practice strict social distancing. That is borne out in the data, as expected by those that understand simple cause-and-effect.

Just because COVID-19 safety protocols have been in place and the pandemic still exists does not mean that the COVID-19 safety protocols do not work or are failures. Some people are practicing COVID-19 protocols and others aren’t. Those that are not practicing the safety protocols are putting themselves and others at risk. That is not the fault of the COVID-19 safety protocols, nor is it a deficiency of the COVID-19 safety protocols, nor is it conclusive that the COVID-19 safety protocols do not work.

As long as there are people that refuse to abide by the COVID-19 safety protocols, and people refuse to get vaccinated, the pandemic will linger and simmer. That the pandemic will persist is not the fault of or proof that the COVID-19 protocols do not work, only that people are not participating. For the pandemic to be squashed, an overwhelming majority of the population must cooperate and participate. There are too many stupid, uncooperative people.

The data proves this. Fauci predicted the surges and deaths very accurately. The winter holiday surge in cases and deaths was incredibly well predicted by Fauci et al. Why do you deny that?

Texas is a disaster, they are reporting an unusually large pneumonia season, actually COVID-19. The southern states and Red States have massaged COVID-19 testing and reporting. Like Trump always complained about, he said we were doing too much testing. So the Red States have curtailed testing or reporting test results to make things look good. Don’t worry, the drop in population and piles of bodies in those states can’t be hidden much longer. The truth comes out. Survivors are already noting that many of their friends and neighbors are gone, victims of COVID-19.

The Panda site is a complete joke. The Panda site is a perfect example of: “Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.” – Mark Twain

The entire website does not have a valid point or conclusion. It was entertaining.

Regarding the current vaccines… they are not killing people. People that are vaccinated are not getting gravely ill or dying from the COVID-19 virus 🦠. That’s a good thing, right?

Don’t worry… industry is already working on advanced, more effective COVID vaccines.

You ever heard of L. Ron Hubbard?

GP, I command you to not ever listen to NPR, Public Radio, VoA, etc. Never, ever listen to these news sources.

  70. That’s my whole point and GP just doubled down on it. You don’t prove your point with anecdotes and recollections filtered through your well documented bias. You don’t remind people that it’s important to do research then demonstrate you’ve done precious little of it by passing on talking points that a simple Google search show are being pushed mostly by right wing sources. What you do is get of your lazy ass to work and dig up well established credible sources that support your position. Those would not include hair brained blogs on social media but credible, world renowned sources. Then throw them up as a link and let the readers peruse them and form their own judgement.

  71. GP not getting vaccinated. There’s a shock. Getting vaccinated requires a certain amount of faith that all the companies, scientists, government officials, CDC and FDA have done a good job providing a safe and effective vaccine. Also requires a sense of civic responsibility that to get to herd immunity it requires folks to do their bit even if not 100% sure about the entire process. Considering the solar system revolves around some of these characters with fringe beliefs stating you’re not getting the vaccine GP was redundant.

  72. FACT: NY & NJ have had higher hospitalization rates than Florida EVERY DAY for the last 5 and a half months.

FACT: 5 weeks after TX & MS lifted restrictions, the hospitalization rate in MI, NY, & NJ is 164% higher than those states.

FACT: Cases are “out of control” (per NY Times) in MI, despite that state having some of the strictest restrictions of any state.

FACT: Oklahoma lifted all restrictions a month ago. Hospitalizations are down 34%

FACT: Montana lifted its mask mandate 2 months ago. Hospitalizations are down more than 60%

FACT: The top 10 states with the highest hospitalization rates all have active mask mandates.

    LOGICAL CONCLUSION: Masks are ineffective.

If you want to claim otherwise, show me some actual statistics that back up your claim. You can’t, they don’t exist. If Fauci actually looked at the stats, he wouldn’t have had to say on MSNBC that he was “not sure” and “confused” as to why TX hasn’t seen a huge surge.

You’re the one filtering things through your bias. Just because you’re on the same side as the government doesn’t automatically make you right (or wrong for that matter). That’s not how real science works.

  73. GP, you’re an idiot. And you are enraged. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m loving it.

    One more post????? 😝😝😝😝😛😛😛😝😝😛😛😛😛🤪🤪🤪🤪

Look, how long have laws been around? Yeah, that long. How long have murder laws been around? Yet people still murder people. By *YOUR* version of logic, murder laws are ineffective. I’d call that GP Idiot Logic, not to be confused with real logic. People speed all the time. Speeding laws must be ineffective.

LOGICAL CONCLUSION: GP is an idiot.

There are plenty of people, tens of millions, that are not abiding by the mask, social distancing and hygiene recommendations. When that happens, of course it will look like the recommendations aren’t working. You idiot.

You’re an idiot and have no place whatsoever commenting on how real science works. 🧬 🔬 🧫 🧪

Are you a Scientologist? You know they have nothing to do with real science?

Texas and other Red States simply aren’t reporting the truth. They’ve been caught. Florida has been in the news all about it. They fired and prosecuted one of their lead scientists for publishing the truth and refusing to doctor the data to make it look “good”. Texas refused to acknowledge coronavirus and was calling it an unusual outbreak of pneumonia.

“Get your facts first, and then you can distort them as much as you please.” – Mark Twain

You aren’t even close to the facts, you are fact phobic. You have a profound fear of facts. Or you are an idiot incapable of comprehending and understanding facts.

One out of every 577 Americans has died from COVID-19. Feeling lucky, punk?

  74. GP, here’s a list for you to ponder:

    1. North Dakota
    2. South Dakota
    3. Rhode Island
    4. Iowa
    5. Utah
    6. Tennessee
    7. Arizona
    8. Oklahoma
    9. Nebraska
    10. Arkansas
    11. South Carolina
    12. New Jersey
    13. Alabama
    14. Kansas
    15. Indiana
    16. Mississippi
    17. New York
    18. Idaho

This is a list of the states with the highest total cases/million population, starting with the worst. This is from JHU. RI, NY and NJ were part of the original Ground Zero states where the pandemic took root before anybody knew what was happening. The incredible high case and death numbers those states experienced early on before it was know what was going on and what to do about still weigh considerably. Otherwise, that is a pretty pathetic list of liberty before life states that are choosing to risk infection over wearing a mask, social distancing and good hygiene. They love liberty more than health and life. Again, outside of the original Ground Zero states of the northeast, those states have the STATISTICALLY highest case and death rates. The states where it is deemed weak to wear a mask 😷 , where it is deemed Government overreach to wear a mask. 😷 Where wearing a mask 😷 deemed a sign of not being tough and strong. Where wearing a mask 😷 is not genuinely and strongly advised. Yep, idiots one and all.

Racing is at risk because of this.

  75. GP,
I’m just going to throw this out about the flawed way you come to your “logical conclusion”.

So you say: “FACT: The top 10 states with the highest hospitalization rates all have active mask mandates. LOGICAL CONCLUSION: Masks are ineffective.”

So this “Logical Conclusion” is ridiculously flawed because you take into account zero other variables in play.

So let’s look at this way.

Alaska does not mandate helmets to be worn by adults on motorcycles. Mississippi does mandate adults wear helmets on motorcycles.

Alaska is ranked 33rd in the United States for motorcycle fatalaties at 4.44 fatalaties per 10,000 registered motorcycles. Mississippi is ranked No. 1 in the United States for motorcycle fatalaties at 15.92 fatalities per 10,000 registered motorcycles.

By your logic, these statistics would indicate that wearing a helmet does not make you safer while riding a motorcycle. Using your logic one would have to determine that a helmet serves no purpose and doesn’t make someone any safer than they would be not wearing it. I think most experts would argue differently, that wearing a helmet protects you immensely from head injuries, which are the most common cause of motorcycle fatalities.

So how can it be that in Alaska where there is no helmet law fewer people die in motorcycle accidents than in Mississippi, where there is a helmet law? Because the variables are immensely different when it comes to traffic, population density, etc.

The same goes for COVID statistics and mask wearing. Yeah, it’s a lot safer to go without a mask in Montana, where population density is next to nothing than in say New Jersey, where population density is high across the board. It doesn’t mean wearing a mask isn’t slowing the spread because obviously spread is much different in a densely populated area than in an area of less population density.

  76. I have no idea how you came up with that helmet comparison or why it would even come to mind but it’s a debate point that as far as this forum goes is just at another level.
What’s the goal here? We’ve all seen this before. This isn’t public health and science debate for GP it’s a political dogma stance and he won’t be moved by anything. The points expressed should be for the greater audience whom I’m sure many folks may be receptive to but after the discussion has passed the front page is it the proverbial tree falling in the woods?

  77. “This isn’t public health and science debate for GP it’s a political dogma stance and he won’t be moved by anything.”

You continuing to try to discredit those you disagree with ignorant statements like that just means you don’t have a good counter argument. Politics has nothing to do with it. It absolutely IS about public health. We haven’t even touched on all the negative outcomes from the lockdowns which include suicides and mental health issues. But I guess those lives don’t matter to you.

As far as “science” goes, Shawn’s helmet analogy may explain Montana, but it does nothing to explain away Florida, Texas, NY, etc. Every time a state lifts restrictions, Fauci makes dire predictions that NEVER come true. Then he’s on tv saying he’s “confused” as to why he was wrong. Yet many people such as yourself continue to believe everything he says, even when the numbers don’t support it. That’s more like a religious following than one based in science.

And if you want to make the argument that it’s a compliance issue, Japan’s infection rate is rising sharply right now, and their compliance rate is 98%. The bottom line is, MASKS DON’T WORK.

  78. Everyone keep Matt Buckler in your thoughts. He just announced on Facebook that he’s in the hospital with COVID.

  79. GP, you’ve been discredited and destroyed.

Fauci’s predictions come true. The 2020 holiday season surge was true. Fauci predicted that in Mar/Apr of 2020, when he said things were going to be very bad around the holidays with people traveling and gathering. He was right. Traveling and gathering is bad, very bad. Travel is what spread the pathogen around the world so quickly.

What’s a treatment for the spread of pathogen through travel? DON’T TRAVEL. Don’t gather, don’t create high population densities, like airports, bars, cafes, restaurants, arenas, etc.

GP, it really bothers you that Fauci is right, and you have nothing for him.

If masks don’t work, why are masks 😷 used as standard operating procedure in hospitals for decades?

So if masks don’t work, what does? If you can recommend something that does, please do.

Again, compliance is required for COVID-19 protocols to work. FL and TX are clearly states that refuse to abide by anything, they are petulant and refuse to do what is recommended. FL and TX are two of the worst areas now. You seem to think that higher infection is a good thing. FL and TX view the COVID-19 protocols as attacks on liberty.

Take a look at that list I posted, those are predominantly low population density states, flyover states, getting destroyed by COVID-19, just as I predicted long ago when they were untouched and it was the high density areas that were being ravaged. I am right again. 😝😛😛😝😛😝 Basic science principles are all that is needed. Simple cognitive ability, basic science knowledge and understanding that you are without.

If you look at how the pathogen spread, as looking at a map and watching the cases accumulate in different areas, it was like watching a fungus propagate on a lab plate. Just simple, primal need to survive and thrive. To nourish and reproduce. Incredibly primitive. The virus exploded in high population density (food supply) areas, and slowly spread and infiltrated the low population density areas.

Here’s a statistical fact for you: people that wear glasses have shown a remarkable lower infection rate, indicating that the pathogen takes hold in a host through the ocular openings. Further evidence that the pathogen is transmitted via aerosol. Wear a mask, keep your germs to yourself. It’s also why medical professionals are wearing full face shields nowadays.

Wear a mask, keep your germs to yourself.

  80. I see you’re still peddling the bs compliance argument even though Japan completely blows that out of the water. Then you just flat out lie about Texas. Even you’re hero Dr. Fauci knows they aren’t doing bad at all. Then there’s page 8 of the WHO Interim Guidance (December 1, 2020) which says, “A large randomized community-based trial in which 4862 healthy participants were divided into a group wearing medical/surgical masks and a control group found no difference in infection with SARS-CoV-2”.

The World Health Organization admits masks make “no difference”, but you just keep washing down your blue pills with Fauci’s Kool Aid, you’ll be fine.

  81. GP, I don’t understand your point about Japan, please explain.

That is true about Texas, and Texas is run by idiots.

Please provide a link to the WHO statement on masks. 😷 They use masks during the ebola, e-coli and cholera outbreaks in Africa. WHO uses masks.

    Here’s the WHO position on masks 😷 : https://www.who.int/news-room/q-a-detail/coronavirus-disease-covid-19-masks

  82. “ Although several countries mandated wearing facemask in health care settings and public areas, scientific evidences are lacking supporting their efficacy for reducing morbidity or mortality associated with infectious or viral diseases [2], [14], [19]. Therefore, it has been hypothesized: 1) the practice of wearing facemasks has compromised safety and efficacy profile, 2) Both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to reduce human-to-human transmission and infectivity of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, 3) Wearing facemasks has adverse physiological and psychological effects, 4) Long-term consequences of wearing facemasks on health are detrimental.”

That’s from a peer reviewed Stanford study and published on the website of the same government agency that employs Fauci.

So this is like your fourth or fifth “one more”, “last time”, etc. What took you so long? 😝😝😝

You really are a very special idiot.

The TITLE of the paper is: Facemasks in the COVID-19 era: A health hypothesis

    See that word “hypothesis”?

A hypothesis is not a fact. A hypothesis needs to be proven, if it can be. But after decades of mask use, what kind of idiot would attempt to question the use of masks? 😷

    Are you Alex Jones?

What part of “Therefore, it has been hypothesized: …” do you not understand???? Idiot.

Do you know what a hypothesis is?

Here is the definition of hypothesis:

    n. A tentative explanation for an observation, phenomenon, or scientific problem that can be tested by further investigation.
    n. Something taken to be true for the purpose of argument or investigation; an assumption.

Here’s simple proof that masks work: the normal seasonal flu was nearly non-existent in 2020 because of the measures such as masks 😷, taken to protect against the COVID-19 virus. 🦠

Masks have been worn for health reasons for decades, because they work.

  84. GP, when are you going to explain your previous comment about Japan?

    Thanks in advance.

  85. If a pathogen is transmitted by the aerosol route, a mask on the emitter and receiver makes sense.

    Too obvious?

  86. If brains were dynamite, you wouldn’t have enough to blow your nose. Any scientific study starts with a hypothesis, which is then tested. Click on the link and do some reading, you might learn something.

“The existing scientific evidences challenge the safety and efficacy of wearing facemask as preventive intervention for COVID-19. The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects. These include hypoxia, hypercapnia, shortness of breath, increased acidity and toxicity, activation of fear and stress response, rise in stress hormones, immunosuppression, fatigue, headaches, decline in cognitive performance, predisposition for viral and infectious illnesses, chronic stress, anxiety and depression. Long-term consequences of wearing facemask can cause health deterioration, developing and progression of chronic diseases and premature death.”

  87. If masks were what is claimed, masks would have been banned decades ago. But masks are still a first line of defense against transmission and infection.

You’re still a very special kind of idiot. ⭐️ Even more so.

  88. Anyone know why Dr Fauci was on TV saying the vaccines were safe, only hours before the CDC recommended halting the J&J vaccine due to safety concerns?

  89. Mike H, do you understand why the vaccines are safe?

    GP, how ya doin’ buddy?

  90. Remember folks, wear a mask and make sure it fits properly with no leaks.
