  1. I think it’s fair to say there were some hard feeling in the past between the Moeller clan and this publication. As Andrew has matured and transformed before our eyes and ears seeing him go from a child to a young adult so has the relationship here and it’s good to see. He’s a good interview now and only going to get better. Late Models vs SK’s, Stafford vs the Speedbowl all terrific observations and in my view some surprises.
There must be an etiquette to interviews where certain topics are not pressed. One might be how the Moeller’s feel about their decision to lease a car from KRR and what must be disappointing results at Stafford. How do they feel seeing Rocco winning races or most recently Narducci yet after years they haven’t won in a KRR supplied car. Digging deeper what is the expectation when you use KRR to supply the car in the first place? Is it to save time, to operate in a tighter budgetary window, to get better results or what? All these years no one talks about it more then mentioning the lease agreement so I’m guessing the reason might be it’s none of our business.
As the excitement about Coby’s SRX win gets further and further in the rear view mirror his primary focus, the NWMT is back on the front burner. There’s Doug Coby the driver and how he views the championship and he put that into focus like a laser beam sticking what can be reasonably attained. What I appreciate more is Doug Coby the owner. His commentary from how he view the owners championship to specific events and the direction of the series.
