BARRE, VT – Fan packed into the historic Thunder Road International Speedbowl to watch their local Late Model hero’s do battle for the 42nd Essex Equipment Vermont Governor’s Cup with a special invader in town in NASCAR Cup Series driver and former Whelen Modified Tour champion Ryan Preece.
Preece was 10th in the event, which was won in dominating fashion by track regular Jason Corliss of Barre.

What a Nice place to visit , Great seats and or bring your own favorite Lawn Chair , Creature comfort’s that you just don’t find around here, Seekonk used to allow lawn chairs but they cut those years ago…. Easy to social distance in your own group of chairs or blanket on Lawns … It would be cool if tracks started Lawn Chair Sections ….. Many people have a certain chair that is perfect fit for them, They are much more comfortable than hard bleacher’s , Maybe people would stay longer if they were MORE COMFORTABLE ..
